Ch 11 -- Luther, Tyndale, Erasmus, Calvin & Zwingli Use Scripture to Free Protestant England and Holland From 1260 Years Of Papal Control

"And there was given me (Castor: Luther, Tyndale, Erasmus, Calvin and Zwingli) a reed (red radius line; arrow) like unto a rod (canon -- Bible): and the angel stood (Orion), saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God (Protestant Church is Heavenly Zodiac Temple), and the altar (Ara), and them that worship therein (Protestants). But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not (Catholic Europe has dogs, crows, rabbits and horses -- all unclean creatures); for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city (Britain's and Holland's Protestant cities) shall they tread under foot forty and two months (1514-1517; 1483-1588; 257-1517, etc.). And I will give power unto my two witnesses (Luther, Zwingli, etc.), and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days (1483-1588; 257-1517, etc.), clothed in (black) sackcloth" (11:1-3).



This was a 12 1/2 foot long measuring device. In Hebrew the word is "KANEH" (Ez. 40 & 42) and from that we get our word "CANON" or the books of the Bible recognized as CANONICAL or genuine. The REED is therefore the BIBLE. Christians are measured by the rule of SCRIPTURE (Gal. 6:16) "which cannot be broken" (John 10:35) because it is also a (red radius) ROD of iron (Ps. 2:9; Micah 7:14; Rev. 2:27; 12:5) and pastoral crook to "guide" his flock (19:15). God uses it to chasten us because "Shall I come to you with a ROD?" (1 Cor. 4:21) and "He that spareth the ROD hateth his son" (Pr. 13:24). This ARROW points in the direction of apparent daily rotation of sun, moon and stars. John became Pollux (4:1; 11:1). Orion passed off the TORCH to John (sun advanced one month or 30 years). Two witnesses clothed in (black -- Rev. 6:12) sackcloth are the Twins known as Castor (holding the arrow) and Pollux, together called Gemini shining in the BLACK night sky (Dark Ages).

Just as Ezra and Nehemiah, Joshua and Zerubabbel restored Judah from Babylonian captivity, and rebuilt the altar and the physical temple of God and the ruined walls of Jerusalem, so also the modern reformers restored the church after her long captivity in the anti-typical "Babylon the Great" and "measured the spiritual temple" in the Reformation.

What is the "TEMPLE of GOD"? The real temple of God always symbolizes the New Covenant CHURCH of Israel because "the HOUSE of GOD... is the CHURCH of the living GOD" (1 Tim. 3:15). "Ye are the TEMPLE of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them" (2 Cor. 6:16). "As living stones, ye are built up a spiritual HOUSE" (1 Peter 2:5). Astronomically, the Temple of God is the starry dome of HEAVEN which measures 360 degrees and "them that worship in it" are 30 degrees per constellation (11:1) and the altar is the ministry. Therefore, using a 360-day year of 30-day months, we have 42 months (11:2) or 1260 days (degree-months) (11:3) from 1483 to 1587 when Mary Queen of Scots was BEHEADED and Francis Drake sailed into a crowded Cadiz harbor and destroyed some 30 Spanish ships. Then in 1588 the Spanish Armada was SUNK (FULL MOON in Sagittarius pictures all three events). That is 105 years. "The horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea ... they sank into the bottom as a STONE ... they sank as LEAD in the mighty waters" (Ex. 15:1,5,10).

Luther, Tyndale, Erasmus, Calvin, Zwingli and many other Reformers wore the BLACK robes of Catholic clergy. Waldensians traveled in PAIRS and wore coarse travel-stained garments. Jews have historically worn BLACK hats and coats. Also, Moses and Aaron in Egypt, Elijah and Elishah in Israel (2 Ki. 1:10; 1 Ki. 17:1; Ex. 7:17) "smite the earth with plagues" when in answer to their prayers vengeance comes (Luke 18:7-8). "Simeon and Levi are brethren" (Gemini) (Gen. 49:5). Joshua and Caleb. Zerubbabel and Joshua. Christ sent his disciples out two by two. "In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established" (2 Cor. 13:1). Isaiah 43:10 says of Jacob (both ISRAEL and JUDAH), "Ye are my WITNESSES saith God." Also, the Bible has typically been printed with TWO testaments inside a BLACK cover. The Older and Newer TESTAMENTS are two WITNESSES because "TESTAMENT" means "to bear WITNESS." To TESTIFY. The two-edged sword that comes out of Christ's mouth is the Older and Newer TESTAMENTS.

What is the COURT of the GENTILES? When Solomon built the Temple, he added an OUTER COURT to accommodate GENTILES who desired to worship God (outside the ecliptic). The Temple of Israel and the Court of the Gentiles are here contrasted. Protestant churches in Anglo-Saxon and Scandinavian nations were measured using Bible standards by the time of the Reformation and suffered affliction. ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCHES in Latin-German nations were not measured by Bible standards but followed human traditions and enjoyed wealth and power. Protestant reformers used the Bible to determine what the New Testament congregation should be like, but they didn't try to reform the Roman Catholic Church. They left it out or "cast it out."

When are the 42 MONTHS? The four Gentile Empires of Daniel 2 have possessed the Holy Land for a combined total of "42 MONTHS" or 1260 days which symbolize 1260 years (Num. 14:34; Ez. 4:6): Babylon possessed Palestine for 90 years, from 624 to 534 B.C. Medo-Persia for 200 years, from 534 to 334 B.C. Greece for 304 years from 334 to 31 B.C. and Rome for 666 years from the Battle of Actium in 31 B.C. to the Saracen conquest in 636 A.D. Now 90 + 200 + 304 + 666 = 1260 years. Just as the Gentiles "tread under foot" the physical Jerusalem for 42 months (1260 days) so also they "shall" "tread under foot" the "New Jerusalem" or all TRUE CHRISTIANS for 1260 YEARS because "HEAVENLY JERUSALEM" is the "ASSEMBLY and CHURCH of the FIRSTBORN" wherever they may dwell (Heb. 12:22-23).

From when Omar the Turk took Jerusalem in 637 A.D., add 1260 more years to get 1897 when the Zionist Movement was founded in Basel, Switzerland by Jews of all nations desiring to settle in the Holy Land. The fig tree represents the Jewish people (Matt. 24:32-33). When they became a nation, Christ's return is imminent. From 606 AD when Emperor Phocas decreed the Dope "Universal Bishop" till 1866 AD when the last two Protestants were burned at the stake by papal decree at Barletta, Italy is exactly 1260 years. From 610 AD when Emperor Phocas died till 1870 when the city of Rome was captured and the Dope lost his temporal power is exactly 1260 years. Constantine ascended the throne in 312 AD. Claiming to be Christian, but really Catholic, he persecuted "heretics." Exactly 1260 years later, Huguenots were massacred in 1572.

Who are the TWO WITNESSES? Deuteronomy 19:15, John 8:17 and 2 Cor. 13:1 require two witnesses to establish any fact. "In the mouth of TWO or THREE WITNESSES shall every word be established" (2 Cor. 13:1). This important principle presupposes free speech and freedom of the press and freedom of religion because, in order for the agreement of two witnesses to be meaningful proof, they must have the freedom also to disagree and must be independent of eachother. Isaiah 43:10 says of Jacob (both houses of Judah and Israel), "Ye are my WITNESSES saith God." Isaiah 44:8 says, "Ye are even my WITNESSES" (both houses of Israel). Psalm 114:1-2 says, "JUDAH was his sanctuary (church) and ISRAEL his dominion (state)." Yes, "What are these two olive trees? ... the two anointed ones" (Zech. 4:11-14). Joshua was the High PRIEST and Zerubbabel was the KING (Zech. 3:8; 4:9; 4:14). Notice that the KING came from JUDAH (Jews) and the PRIEST came from LEVI (Israelites). Then in Acts 1:8 Christ said to his disciples, "Ye (the church) shall be WITNESSES unto me ... unto the uttermost parts of the earth." In the Reformation the TWO WITNESSES were the STATE (British-Israel) and the CHURCH (Protestantism). Furthermore, Christ said, "Search the scriptures for they are they which TESTIFY (or witness) of me" (John 5:39). Many Bibles were also burned just like the Protestant martyrs. Therefore, any combination of Protestant CHURCH, Israelite STATE and/or the BIBLE constitutes the TWO and/or THREE WITNESSES needed to establish a fact. These witnesses stand before "the god of the earth" meaning "his holiness the pope" who blasphemously claims to be god.

Gentiles "tread under foot holy city 42 months" or "two witnesses prophesy in sackcloth 1260 days" (Rev. 11:2-3)

"Now no one contradicts, no one opposes" -- 5th May 1514	Luther nails 95 Theses to door of Wittenburg Castle -- 31st Oct 1517 (1260 days) Within a month, LUTHER'S protest aroused all Europe. Thus the witnesses figuratively "STOOD on their feet" after being as "dead bodies" for 3 1/2 years. Then Germany in 1532 granted full toleration to Protestants with the Pacification Decree of Nuremberg. This was followed by more decrees; till at Augsburg in 1555, Protestants were put on an equal footing with Romanists and admitted as judges in the Supreme Imperial Chamber."COME UP HERE." The Decree of Toleration (313) + 1260 prophetic years (1242) = 1555 (Augsburg).
From when the churches of Paris were closed and converted to Temples of Reason and public reading of the Bible forbidden -- 24 Nov 1793	Till April 1797 at the Easter Festival when churches were reopened and the Bible allowed again was 3 1/2 years exactly and another fulfillment of the Rev. 11:9-11 for the two witnesses being dead. (A. Aulard, Christianity and the French Revolution, page 108-109, 150-151).
Luther nails 95 Theses to door of Wittenburg Castle -- 31st Oct 1517	Prince Frederick abducted him to protect him from being burned as a heretic, and hid him in Wartburg Castle -- 4th May 1521 (1260 days)
In Paris on the eve of St. Bartholemew's Day, thirty or forty thousand HUGUENOTS were slain in a few days -- 24 Aug 1572.	Three-and-a-half years later, HENRY III, who succeeded his brother Charles IX, entered into a treaty with the HUGUENOTS, which was concluded and published on the 14th of May, 1576, whereby all the former sentences against them were revised, and the free and open exercise of their religion was granted to them: they were to be admitted to all honours, dignities and offices, as well as the Papists; and the judges were to be half of one religion, and half of the other; with other articles greatly to their advantage." (1260 days) They were told "COME UP HERE."
The Revocation of the Edict of Nantes took place on the 17th of October, 1685. The English Revolution followed in 1688.	The coronation of WILLIAM of ORANGE and Queen Mary took place on the 11th of April, 1689. The interval is THREE-AND-A-HALF YEARS. (1260 days). In the reign of William III the Bill of Rights was passed (1699). That bill made it impossible for any but a Protestant to sit on the throne of England. That Bill said to Protestants, "COME UP HERE."
Luther prepared a Disputation Against Scholastic Theology, in the form of 97 theses, which attacked the idea that believers could be justified before God on the basis of their works -- 28 Sep 1517	Tyndale met reformers at White Horse Tavern -- Mar 1521 (1260 days)
The Duke of SAVOY, the sovereign of the VAUDOIS, by an edict dated January 31st, 1686, forbade the exercise of their religion on pain of death and ordered their churches demolished and their ministers banished. SAVOY and French troops attacked them on the 22nd of April 1686. Many Vaudois were killed or imprisoned and permitted to depart about the beginning of December 1686 ("dead bodies lie in street"). Papists REJOICED ("they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them"). The VAUDOIS were kindly received by Holland, Brandenburg, Geneva and Switzerland.	Towards the end of the year 1689, about THREE-AND-A-HALF YEARS after the attack on the 22nd of April, led by Henry Arnaud, they passed the Lake of Geneva secretly, and entering SAVOY with their swords in their hands they recovered their ancient possessions, and by the middle of April 1690, established themselves in it ("spirit of life entered into them"), notwithstanding the numerous encounters with and opposition from the troops of France (10,000) and SAVOY (12,000); of whom they, who were comparatively few, slew great numbers with inconsiderable loss (losing only 30); causing FEAR and TERROR in their enemies, till the Duke himself, who had now, left the French interest, by his League, and an Edict signed June 4th, 1690, just THREE-AND-A-HALF YEARS after their total dissipation, recalled the rest of them and re-established them with liberty to the French refugees also. ("COME UP HERE" decree). This fulfillment includes the resurrection of both the WALDENSES and ALBIGENSES -- two witnesses -- which have been a united people, and dwelt together in these valleys of Piedmont ever since the conclusion of the Crusades against the ALBIGENSES in the 13th century. After the Treaty of 1690, their privileges were constantly confirmed, and perfect liberty of conscience accorded them. "The Protestant powers continued their protection, and particularly England; for a pension by that country to the pastors under William and Mary, which was named the English Royal Subsidy; and this being found insufficient, in 1770 a general collection was made, the interest of which was paid under the name of the English National Subsidy." In Switzerland "studentships were established at the Universities of Geneva, Lausanne and Basle for the young Vaudois intended for the ministry." (Authentic Details of the Waldenses, pp. 389-390)

Luther nails The Ninety-five Theses or Disputation on the Power of Indulgences to door of Wittenburg Castle -- 31st Oct 1517	The Pilgrims hold a harvest celebration. Massasoit and a number of Natives participate. -- Oct 1621. The ship Fortune arrives, bringing 35 new colonists, mostly men -- November 9, 1621. Two more ships, Anne & Little James, arrive bring-ing almost 100 more colonists -- July/Aug 1623. Bradford abolishes socialism and gives each Pilgrim household a parcel of land resulting in plentiful harvests -- 1623 (1260 months)

Only two garrisons, Enniskillen and Londonderry (two witnesses), were loyal to Protestantism in all of Catholic Ireland. Catholic King James II demanded Londonderry's surrender. A volley of musket shots ("fire out of their mouths") and "No surrender" was the reply April 18, 1689.	During the course of the siege, 8,000 died ("their dead bodies shall lie in the street"). Jacobites outside Derry were elated they had trapped the Protestants ("rejoice over them, and make merry") but three supply ships (three rotations around Argo) from the Prince of Orange relieved the inhabitants 28th July, 1689, ("the spirit of life from God entered into them [the SUN in Gemini] and they stood upon their feet, and great fear fell upon them who saw them"). The Jacobites were defeated at Newtownbutler by Enniskillen and 2,000 Jacobites were killed on 31st July 1689 ("turn water to blood"). On August 1st, James II and his army retreated to eventual defeat. The Siege of Londonderry lasted for 105 days just as from the SUN in Gemini to the moon in Sagittarius are 1260 degree months which equal 105 years. Also if we divide 105 (solar days) by 30 (a lunar day) we get 3 1/2 lunar days of siege.
The revocation of the Edict of Nantes and final HUGUENOT massacre occurred Oct. 22 1685.	Then 105 years later, 10th July 1790, the National Assembly decreed that property of expelled Huguenots, unsold at date, confiscated by the Edict of Nantes, should be restored to their heirs. This was the "great voice from heaven" saying "COME UP HERE." From the death of these French witnesses to their resurrection was 105 years. Now 3 1/2 LUNAR DAYS are 105 earth-days. The moon turns upon its axis just once in 30 days. Consequently, one moon day is 30 times longer than one earth day. From 1685 when Huguenot witnesses were enslaved by French King Louis XIV by revoking the Edict of Nantes till the 10th July 1790 (National Assembly restored property) is 1260 months or 105 years. Prior to this, Aug. 26 1789 the Assembly adopted the Declaration of the Rights of Man and on Dec. 24 1789 issued a decree declaring all non-Catholic Frenchmen admissible to all offices, both civil and military -- "COME UP HERE." Even the THIRD ESTATE itself was invited by the "great voice" from the French throne to "COME UP HERE" May 5th, 1789. They outnumbered the Clergy (1st Estate) and Nobility (2nd estate) united by 67 votes and were a great CLOUD which inspired FEAR in the mind of king, nobles and clergy. This was called the "Reign of TERROR." This "EARTHQUAKE" caused a "TENTH (36) of the city (360) to fall." In other words, France was overthrown as a loyal part of the Holy Roman Empire. "The remnant were AFFRIGHTED, and gave glory to the God of heaven" (11:13).
Cyprian was the last champion of doctrinal independence from Rome. All rivalry after his time was confined to Rome versus Constantinople. Cyprian was the first to express the idea of the Roman Catholic Church having a monopoly on salvation in 257 A.D.	This doctrine of Rome having a monopoly on salvation was not effectively challenged until Luther nailed up his 95 Theses on the Wittenburg Church door in 1517 A.D. (1260 years)
Council of Nicaea forbids Christians meeting together -- 4 July 325 A.D.	Mary Queen of Scots beheaded. Christians can now meet together -- 8 Feb 1587 A.D. (1260 years)
The Papal Era of Indictions began September 312	The massacre of St. Bartholemew began 24th August 1572, (1260 solar years).
The end of the Western Roman Empire -- 22nd August, 476	The Peace of Carlowitz was signed -- 26th January 1699 (1260 lunar years later). This and the almost contemporaneous Peace of Ryswick (or Battle of Zenta), marked the inauguration of a new era in Papal and Mohammedan domination. From 747 B.C. to 476 A.D. (August) is 1260 lunar years and from 747 B.C. to 1774 A.D. is 2520 solar years.
From the Imperial Restoration of Holy Roman Empire by Justinian in 554	till Battle of Waterloo in1814 is 1260 years.
From the fall of paganism at the victory of Constantine at the Battle of Milvian Bridge, October 28th, 312,	1260 solar years extend to the massacre of St. Bartholemew in 1572.

"These are the two olive trees (Israel and Judah; British & Americans; Canis Minor -- Mulberry Tree), and the two (red radius) candlesticks (Philadelphia and Laodicea) standing before the God of the earth (Satan; pope). And if any man will hurt them (Duke of Alva; Spanish Armada; etc.), fire (Scripture, bullets and cannonballs) proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed (This advocates gun rights). These have power to shut heaven (shut Papal government via red "X"), that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters (Aquarius and Eridanus: "peoples ... and nations" -- Rev. 17:15) to turn them to blood (kill people), and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will" (11:4-6).

If Gemini is alternately "two olive trees (variant of Hyginus's Mulberry Tree in Canis Minor) and two LAMPS (two red radius candle sticks; two stars -- Castor and Pollux; menorahs)," then the symbols refer to the House of ISRAEL (Hos. 14:6; Rev. 1:20 Christians) and the House of JUDAH (Jer. 11:16; Zech. 4:11-14 Jews). The two olive trees of Romans 11 are Jews (good) and "Gentiles" (Greek Israelites -- wild) and thus Paul defined Rev. 11. "ISRAEL ... his beauty shall be like the OLIVE TREE" (Hos. 14:6). "The Eternal called thy name, A green OLIVE TREE... house of ISRAEL and ... house of JUDAH" (Jer. 11:16; see also Zechariah 4:3 and Romans 11). King David of all twelve-tribed Israel sang, "I am like a green OLIVE TREE in the house of God" (Ps. 52:8). Isaiah 61:3 also mentions these "TREES of RIGHTEOUSNESS." These two witnesses are called "TWO CANDLESTICKS" because a candlestick is a CONGREGATION of GOD'S PEOPLE (Rev. 1:20). Zechariah saw in his vision only ONE CANDLESTICK because only the KINGDOM of JUDAH remained in Palestine (Zech. 4:11-14). John saw TWO (red radius line) CANDLESTICKS depicting the KINGDOM of JUDAH as well as the "lost" tribes of the KINGDOM of ISRAEL Christianized by this time. The House of JUDAH and the HOUSE of ISRAEL are the "JEW and the GREEK." Both "shine as lights in the world" (Phil. 2:15; Matt. 5:14). British and Americans are the two names for these people today. Furthermore, "Thy WORD (Old Testament & New Testament) is a LAMP (menorah) unto my feet, and a light unto my path" (Ps. 119:105).

What is the FIRE? This refers to the power given to Moses and Elijah (Nu. 16; 1 Ki. 17:1; Luke 4:25). But symbolically, Jeremiah 5:14 defines the FIRE by saying, "I will make MY WORDS in thy mouth FIRE (the sun in Gemini), and this people wood, and it shall devour them" which is why all the constellations are BLACK (11:5). The phrase "must in this manner be KILLED" refers not merely to bullets and cannonballs but to conversion, or maybe even the final judgment of HELL FIRE. "He that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the Eternal. Is not MY WORD like a FIRE? saith the Eternal; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?" (Jer. 23:28-29). But Protestant cannons, muskets and gunpowder were also BLACK and FIRE from their mouths has also devoured (11:5). When a rifle is held up and aimed, FIRE proceeds from the MOUTH of the barrel and it appears to come from the shooter's MOUTH also (cp. Nu. 16:35; 2 Ki. 1:10-12). "His maker gives him his sword" (Job 40:19) which is "the word of God" (Heb. 4:12).

"HEAVEN CLOSED " was the British, French, Dutch and German GOVERNMENTS no longer favoring Roman Catholicism. Their "HEAVEN CLOSED" against Papal Rome like a big red radius line "X" across the sky. The PROTESTANT REFORMATION was the DROUGHT during the sway of the PAPACY [the god of the earth] just as Elijah foretold a physical DROUGHT (1 Ki. 17:1; James 5:17) during the sway of JEZEBEL (the "goddess" Ahab obeyed) "and it rained not on the earth for the space of three years and six months" (1260 days). Adding 1260 degree-months to 1483, we come to 1587 when Mary Queen of Scots was beheaded. Also Francis Drake sailed into a crowded Cadiz harbor and destroyed some 30 Spanish ships. In 1588 the Spanish Armada was sunk. That is 105 years. "Water to blood" is the red radius line through Aquarius. "Turn waters to blood" denotes the bloodshed of WARS inflicted by God on enemies of his witnesses (see Rev. 8:8-9). Metaphorically, "WATERS" are "PEOPLES ... and NATIONS" (Rev. 17:15; Isa. 48:1): Europe's RIVERS, the natural defensive positions, have RUN with BLOOD in warfare. France and Spain in particular, who persecuted Christians, Israelites and their Scriptures, have experienced many wars and revolutions while Anglo-Saxons and Scandinavian countries who persecuted the WITNESSES far less, have suffered less.

"And when they shall have finished their testimony (1483-4 to 1514 = 30 degrees testimony of Gemini), the beast (Leo symbolizes Pope Leo X -- who burned Scripture and heretics at the red radius line stake when the sun was in Leo. That is all that's left of the Twins) that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit (deep space) shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them ("Now no one contradicts, no one opposes" -- 1514). And their dead bodies shall lie in the street (Milky Way) of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was (red radius line cross) crucified. (Roman Empire = Rome by the Edict of Caracalla). And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half (1514-1517; etc.), and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves" (They keep rotating up out of the horizon) (Rev. 11:7-9).

"The beast (Leo) ... shall ... kill them" (sun burned at the red radius stake in Leo; nothing left of them). Leo ascends out of the celestial horizon ("bottomless pit"). Pope Leo X. Both witnesses now upside-down have been shot in the head (Castor & Pollux are the bullet holes) or burned at the red radius stake to BLACK ash and all dressed in BLACK at the funeral -- and rejoiced (11:10). The edict of Caracalla (212 AD) decreed that the city of ROME extended as far as the boundary of the Roman Empire so Christ was crucified in ROME and the Pope was like pharaoh -- a "god man." Jews testified they had no king but Caesar (John 19:15). ROME was anciently known as "the great city" (11:8) according to Manilius, Lib iv (2.434, n.2) and the Bible (16:19; 17:18; 18:10-21). JERUSALEM also is called Sodom (Isa. 1:10) and practiced the sins of Egypt (Ez. 23:19-21). But Christ is crucified "afresh" in EVERY CITY where people sin (Heb. 6:6) (11:8); also because what is done to the least of his brethren, is done to him (Matt. 25:40).

In the 3rd Lateran Council A.D. 1179 Christian BURIAL was denied heretics and "no man should EXERCISE TRAFFIC with them." The same in the 4th Lateran Council A.D. 1215, and the Papal Decree of Gregory IX in 1227 A.D. and in Pope Martin's decree immediately after the Council of Constance in 1422 A.D., which Council ordered Wycliff's body EXHUMED, and the ashes of Huss, INSTEAD OF BURIAL, be cast into Lake Constance. Savonarola's ashes were similarly cast into the Arno in 1498 A.D. In Cardinal Cajetan's first bull, against Luther, as well as that afterwards, one penalty was that both Luther and his partisans be deprived of Christian BURIAL. The Council of the Roman Church also repeatedly issued edicts from 1514 to 1517 excommunicating "heretics," ordering SCRIPTURES in common tongues to be BURNT, ordering BONES of Protestant martyrs to be DUG UP and burnt, and Christian BURIAL to be REFUSED to all "heretics."

The "STREET" (11:8) is the Milky Way under Gemini making the entire Zodiac portray "Sodom and Egypt" with astrological snakes, dogs, a chained woman, hybrid creatures, violence, Hercules & Ophiuchus kissing, Isis & Horus of Coma, Southern Cross, Northern Cross, and unused Libra Scales of Justice. For instance, when the sun is between the horns of Taurus, we have a golden calf -- Ex. 32:8; when over Orion, a sun pinata; at Auriga, Thor's chariot wheel -- 2 Ki.23:11 (Santa's sleigh); on the Mulberry Tree (Canis Minor), an X-mas ornament -- Jer. 10:4; in Cancer a host in a monstrance with Hydra as the stem; in Leo a carved orange Jack-O-Lantern pumpkin with a black cat; by Crater, the round wafer host & empty communion cup; at Virgo, Madonna with child ("queen of heaven" -- Jer. 44:19); in Libra, an "unjust balance" (Pr. 11:1); then Scorpio taxing your last gold coin (1 Ki. 12:14); next to Sagittarius a round tumor caused by vaccine injection; in Capricorn a genetically modified organism; in Aquarius a Roulette wheel and Keg-O-Beer; everywhere else a halo, tonsure, easter egg, wreathe, crystal ball, UFO or Will of the Wisp.

From the 12th century onward, Waldenses and Albigenses (in France), Wycliffites (in England 1350 onward) and Hussites (followers of Huss and Jerome in Bohemia, 1480 onwards) all finished their testimony by declaring the Papacy was Antichrist and the doctrines of transubstantiation, purgatory, prayers to saints and angels, and infallibility of Papal councils were unbiblical. They asserted that the Scriptures were the sole and absolute authority in matters of faith and practice. Therefore, the "Holy Roman Empire" -- the fourth BEAST or red DRAGON -- made war against these "heretics" using the Inquisition. The "GREAT CITY" of ROME was called by the Reformers "Sodom" because of its pride and sexual impurities; and "Egypt" because of idolatry and oppression of God's people. Jesus the Messiah was crucified in Judea, a Roman province, by a Roman governor.

"And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another (lion's head; arrow; Medusa; snake; silver lunar and solar gold medals); because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth (Older and Newer Testaments preached). And after three days and an half (1514-1517) the spirit of life (sun) from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet (Gemini right side up); and great fear fell upon them which saw them. And they heard a great voice from heaven (government) saying unto them, Come up hither (government decree). And they ascended up to (the political) heaven (government) in a cloud (Milky Way; witnesses); and their enemies (Catholics) beheld them" (Rev. 11:10-12).

But after 3 1/2 rotations, Gemini is now right-side up and the "spirit of life" (SUN) entered into their constellation and "they stood upon their feet" and Gemini "ascended up to heaven in a cloud" (Milky Way; other "witnesses") as the next morning rotated around (11:12).

Before John Huss was put to death at the stake he prophesied: "You are now going to burn a GOOSE, (Huss signifying "GOOSE" in the Bohemian language), but in a century you will have a SWAN which you can neither roast nor boil." (Fox’s Book of Martyrs). Martin Luther, who preached about a hundred years after, had a SWAN for his arms. The Papacy tried to kill him but couldn’t. If Luther was the SWAN (Cygnus -- N. Cross), perhaps Wycliffe and/or Zwingli and/or Tyndale were the other two EAGLES, making THREE BIRDS of Revelation 14. Ulrich Zwingli was born 1-1-1484 and Martin Luther was born 10 Nov 1483, right on time, since the two witnesses (Gemini) have a time frame of 1483-4 (since Orion was 1453). Adding 3 1/2 years to 1514 (11:11) we get 1517 when Luther nailed his 95 theses to the Wittenburg church door.

In 1523, in an address to the Diet of Nuremberg, Pope Adrian unconsciously testified to the fulfillment of this prophecy in verse 11 when he said, "The heretics HUSS and JEROME seem now to be alive again in the person of LUTHER." In 1528 LUTHER himself wrote the following: "We are not the first ones who applied the Antichristian kingdom to the Papacy: this many great men have dared to do many years before us and that frankly and openly under the greatest persecution. The old divinely-ordained WITNESSES confirm our doctrine, and the BODIES of these SAINTS ARISE as it were among us with the NEWLY-VIVIFIED GOSPEL, and awaken much confidence." Martin Luther (or Lauter) was labelled with 666 also. (M=30 + A=1 + R=80 + T=100 + I=9 + N=40 + L=20 + A=1 + V=200 + T=100 + E=5 + R=80). In 1530 the Reformers began to be known as "Protestants" from the Latin word meaning "WITNESSES." LUTHER said in his "Table Talk": "The Papists in Germany are filled with FEAR" (2:29). Our Lord also preached for 3 1/2 years (1,260 days) from 27 to 31 A.D., was dead for three days and then arose.

Cyprian was the last champion of doctrinal independence from Rome. All rivalry after his time was confined to Rome versus Constantinople. Cyprian was the first to express the idea of the Roman Catholic Church having a monopoly on salvation in 257 A.D. This doctrine was not effectively challenged until Luther nailed up his 95 Theses on the Wittenburg Church door in 1517 A.D. In the year 257 A.D. Cyprian had a dream in which he was promised ONE DAY respite from impending martyrdom. He actually had ONE YEAR exactly of respite. His deacon who records the story, remarks upon the symbolism of a day for a year as being Scriptural (Pontius, Life of Cyprian, sec.13). Adding 1260 years to 257 A.D. gives 1517 A.D.

Who were the English witnesses? John WYCLIFFE (1320-1386) translated the Latin Bible into the first English Bible in 1382. Fifty years after WYCLIFFE'S death, in 1438, priests dug up his bones from the grave and burned them in his village of Lutterworth, and then threw the ashes into the river Swift. WYCLIFFE'S writings influenced John HUSS of Bohemia. HUSS'S writings then stirred Martin LUTHER of Germany. Queen Mary, daughter of Henry VIII, began to reign in 1553. She reigned only five years. But about 288 men, women and children were burnt to death in her short reign. When the Pope of Rome heard of it, he was glad and there were special celebrations. The first martyr was John ROGERS. He had done much in the translation of the Bible into English. The date of his martyrdom was February 4th, 1555. On November 10th, 1558 the last martyrs were burnt at Canterbury for a total of THREE YEARS and NINE MONTHS -- "after three days and a half."

Who were the French witnesses? Protestants were massacred at Paris beginning on the eve of St. Bartholemew's Day, Aug. 24, 1572. Thirty or forty thousand HUGUENOTS were slain in a few days. "Their dead bodies lay in the streets of the great city" because they WEREN'T ALLOWED to be BURIED because they were "heretics." The usual death for "heresy" was BURNING, the ashes being afterwards thrown to the winds or cast into rivers. The practice of exhuming the bodies of heretics already buried was derived from paganism; but Papal practice went even a step further, in holding a formal process against a dead body, if after death suspected of heresy. The courts of France, Rome and Spain as well as the people REJOICED and SANG Te Deums and struck medals and celebrated Jubilees. After the Huguenot massacre of 1572, medals were struck commemorating the event. These medals ("GIFTS") were also freely distributed to one another. But in THREE-AND-A-HALF YEARS, HENRY III, who succeeded his brother Charles IX, entered into a treaty with the HUGUENOTS, which was concluded and published on the 14th of May, 1576, whereby all the former sentences against them were revised, and the free and open exercise of their religion was granted to them: they were to be admitted to all honours, dignities and offices, as well as the Papists; and the judges were to be half of one religion, and half of the other; with other articles greatly to their advantage." They were told "COME UP HERE."

Who were the German witnesses? In 1499, the BOHEMIAN BRETHREN sent representatives throughout Europe to find if there were any other witnesses with a similar testimony to their own, and found none, because of the Papal extermination. This is why they were clothed in SACKCLOTH. On December 16th, 1513, a Papal Bull was issued calling the remaining Bohemian dissenters to present their case before the ninth session of the Fifth Lateran Council convened for May 5th, 1514, with the object of completing the extermination of all "heresies." The representatives from different "TONGUES and NATIONS" of the Church of Western Europe gathered in the Lateran Church at Rome to hear the famous proclamation of triumph, "Jam nemo reclamant, nullus obsistit." No witnesses appeared to testify to the truth. Their voices were all silent as if they were DEAD. "The beast (Leo) ... shall ... kill them" (They were burned at the stake: red radius line in sun in Leo -- That is all that's left of them). Pope Leo X was the beast. The council orator exultingly declared: "Now, no one contradicts, no one opposes." To the Pope he said: "The whole body of Christendom is now seen to be subjected to its head, that is to thee."

The same day, the Pope issued an edict, one purpose being "the perpetual elimination of all heretics from the Church Visible." Penalties were increased. One was the DENIAL of BURIAL to heretics, and that involved eternal damnation. When the Council was dissolved, a plenary indulgence was granted, and a Te Deum was sung. There were splendid banquets, general REJOICINGS and congratulations, and SENDING of GIFTS. When the General Council was dissolved in 1517, historians of the Papacy such as Roscoe in his "Life of Pope Leo X" confirm the remarkable accuracy of merry-making, banqueting and exchanging gifts among the leaders of the Church mentioned in verse 10.

In 1179, the third General Council of Lateran, under Alexander III, enjoined princes to make war upon the "heretics," to take their possessions for a spoil, to reduce their persons to slavery, and to WITHHOLD from them Christian BURIAL. This was supposed to involve eternal damnation. The Council of the Roman Church also repeatedly issued edicts from 1514 to 1517 excommunicating the souls of the "heretics," ordering the SCRIPTURES in the common tongues to be BURNT, ordering the BONES of the Protestant martyrs to be DUG UP and burnt, and Christian BURIAL to be REFUSED to all "heretics."

From the 5th May, 1514 when the council orator officially declared: "There is an end to all resistance to the Papal rule and religion: opposers exist no more. The whole body of Christendom is now seen to be subject to its head, even to thee (the Pope)" to 31st October, 1517 when LUTHER posted up his theses to the Wittneburg Castle Church door in Germany, defying Papal Rome and inaugurating the Reformation, are THREE-AND-A-HALF YEARS (1096 + 182.5 = 1278.5, not 1260). Within a month, LUTHER'S protest, which he supported by the Scriptures, aroused all Europe. Thus the witnesses figuratively "STOOD on their feet" after being as "dead bodies" for 3 1/2 years. "After three days I will rise again" (Matt. 27:63). In 1516 ERASMUS had published his New Testament in Greek and Latin which made possible the translation of the Bible into the common tongues from 1517 onward. "ERASMUS laid the egg, and LUTHER hatched it." This shows us how interdependent the two witnesses were. ERASMUS the scholar of the Bible text and LUTHER the preacher who refused to grant absolution for purchased indulgences (1 Pet. 1:18-19). Notice the two witnesses -- Greek & Latin parallel Bible. The Greek text produced by Erasmus is known as Textus Receptus and was the basis for the King James Version New Testament. Erasmus's 1516 Greek Latin New Testament was used as the primary source-text for Martin Luther to translate the New Testament into German for the first time in 1522. It was also used as the primary source-text for William Tyndale to translate the New Testament into English for the first time in 1526.

Prince FREDERICK in Germany protected LUTHER after dreaming of a monk who used a 100-year-old goose quill ("HUSS" means "goose" in Bohemian) to poke the Pope's ears. Then Germany in 1532 granted full toleration to Protestants with the Pacification Decree of Nuremberg. This was followed by more decrees; till at Augsburg in 1555, Protestants were put on an equal footing with Romanists and admitted as judges in the Supreme Imperial Chamber. Thus German witnesses ascended into the German political heaven after hearing the "COME UP HERE" decrees. The preservation of the Protestants at this juncture is mainly traceable to the Ottoman Turks, who in the summer of 1532 swept over the plains of Hungary with 250,000 men, and southern Austria, where they seem to have shaken for a moment the indomitable heroism of Charles V himself. In order to enlist the arms of every German province in repelling these invaders, he opened fresh negotiations with the Protestants, whom he ultimately satisfied by promulgating the religious Peace of Nuremberg, July 23, 1532.

In 1521 Lutheran books appeared in England; and Cambridge students formed a study-group at the White Horse Tavern. William Tyndale met there with other would-be Reformers (Robert Barnes, Thomas Bilney, Thomas Cranmer, Hugh Latimer, Matthew Parker, Nicholas Ridley, John Frith and Miles Coverdale) exactly three-and-a-half years (11:11) from 1517 (SUN in Gemini) to 1521 when the FULL MOON doors swings open in the Sagittarius WHITE HORSE Tavern. The name ‘White Horse Inn’ stained in glass over the entrance to the meeting rooms below the chapel at Trinity College is symbolized by Sagittarius over the FULL MOON. It was known as "Little Germany" because it was the centre for discussion about the exciting and dangerous ideas of Martin Luther.

The two witnesses travel this street and witness against this city for 1260 degree months. From 1483 (SUN in Gemini) to 1588 A.D. (MOON in Sagittarius). "Who is blind but my servant?" (Isa. 42:19) since each is blind in a different eye (like Jews & Christians). Orion celebrated their death by giving a lion head (appropriate gift for Pope Leo X) while Hercules gave a snake hidden in a bouquet of apples, Perseus gave Medusa's head (Papal portrait since it is the head of dragon-woman [Roman Church] who turns hearts from flesh to stone [converted to unconverted] -- Ez. 11:19; 36:26), Ophiuchus gave a snake and Sagittarius gave an arrow (11:10).

In 1517 the Mamluk Sultanate fell and the Ottoman Sultanate took over. This was the Moslem equivalent of the Protestant Reformation. The Battle of Chaldiran in 1514 paved the way for Ottoman success.

"And the same hour (1517 + 30 = 1547) was there a great (political) earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell (36 of 360 degrees; England's Act of Uniformity 1547), and in the earthquake (1548 Transaction of Augsburg) were slain of men seven thousand (Holland's seven provinces liberated:1548-1648) (7 + 36 = 43 Virgin Queen): and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven. The second woe is past (with Queen Elizabeth's reign and Spanish Armada defeated, 1588; and Battle of Zenta 1697); and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly (French Revolution of 1789). And the seventh angel sounded (the red radius tube with solar bell end); and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world (England & Holland) are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he (the Sovereign) shall reign for ever and ever" (Rev. 11:13-15).

The same "hour" (1517 + 30 years = 1547 outer boundary), a tenth of the city, or 36 degrees of Virgo's 43-degree length, fell beneath the horizon (11:13) symbolizing the Papal loss of Protestant England with the Act of Supremacy in 1534 and Act of Uniformity 1548 (2 & 3 Edw 6 c 1), passed on 21 January 1549. It was the logical successor of the Edwardian Injunctions of 1547 and the Sacrament Act of 1547 which had taken piecemeal steps towards the official introduction of Protestant doctrine and practice into England and Wales. It established The Book of Common Prayer (The Book of the Common Prayer and Administration of the Sacraments, and other rites and ceremonies of the Church after the use of the Church of England) as the sole legal form of worship in England. Before 1549, the churches of England used various different versions of the Latin-language Missal.

England has 36 counties: Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Cheshire, Cornwall, Cumbria, Derbyshire, Devon, Dorset, Durham, East Sussex, Essex, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Herefordshire, Hertfordshire, Isle of Wight, Kent, Lancashire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Northamptonshire, Northumberland, North Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Shropshire, Somerset, Staffordshire, Suffolk, Surrey, Warwickshire, West Sussex, Wiltshire, Worcestershire. "There are 36 counties" in England (encyclopedia.kids.net.au). (Notice that the modern total of 36 above agrees with the historic total of 36 below even though some of the counties are different in each count.)





The remaining 7 degrees of Virgo represent the Papal loss of the 7 provinces of Protestant Holland. It happened in stages. In 1548, Charles granted the Netherlands status as an entity separate from both the Holy Roman Empire and from France with the "Transaction of Augsburg." It was not full independence, but it allowed significant autonomy.Then came the iconoclasm in 1566, which was the systematic destruction of statues of saints and other Catholic devotional depictions in churches. In 1566 William the Silent, a Calvinist, started the Eighty Years' War to liberate all Dutch of whatever religion from Catholic Spain. The seven rebellious provinces of the Netherlands were eventually united by the Union of Utrecht in 1579. The Peace of Westphalia, signed in 1648, confirmed the independence of the United Provinces from Spain. "Seven THOUSANDS" should be translated "seven PROVINCES" because although originally it meant a NUMBER (Ex. 18:21,25), upon settlement in Canaan, it came to refer to the TERRITORY where each THOUSAND originally settled (Judges 6:15; 1 Sam. 10:19; Micah 5:2) irrespective of the population increase.

What was the "great EARTHQUAKE"? POLITICAL UPHEAVAL "removing of those things that are shaken ... that those things which cannot be shaken may remain... a kingdom which cannot be moved" (Heb. 12:27-28; Haggai 2:6,21; Isa. 34:2-4; Matt. 24:29). The English REVOLT against the Papacy by King HENRY VIII, EDWARD VI, Queen ELIZABETH, JAMES I, and Parliament's Act of Supremacy in 1534 where the British monarch became head of the Church of England rather than the Pope, caused "the TENTH PART of the city" of Rome to fall. Ten nations had supported Rome for centuries. One left. From the SUN in Gemini (1484) we add 58 degrees to arrive in Virgo (1542) whose 43-degree length spans 1545-1588. This constellation coincides closely with Queen Elizabeth's reign (1558-1603). During her reign, the Act of Supremacy (1559) abolished Papal authority in England and delegated church authority to the Monarch. The Treasons Act of 1571 made it illegal to try to hurt or kill the Monarch. Adopting the Book of Common Prayer, together with the ratification of the "Thirty-nine Articles" by Act of Parliament, Queen ELIZABETH in 1571 completely severed England from Rome ("forty stripes save one" for law-breakers -- Deut. 25:3; Then in the Revolution of 1688 A.D. and Settlement of 1697 A.D. (where the King must declare adoration of Virgin Mary, Saints & Mass to be idolatrous) further distance was added. Since Denmark, Norway and Sweden were never part of the Roman territory to begin with, they don't count as one of the ten. But in a larger sense, the separation of the Protestant nations of Switzerland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, England, Scotland (1518-1558) and the United Provinces of Holland (1581) from Papal Rome revealed these nations as the Lord's portion -- his TITHE or TENTH of the priesthood to serve God.

In the days of Elijah there were "SEVEN THOUSAND" who did not bow the knee to Baal images or KISS them (1 Kings 19:18) just as in the Protestant Reformation there were "SEVEN THOUSANDS" plural meaning seven tribal sub-divisions (cp. Ex. 18:21; Nu. 10:36) or SEVEN northern PROVINCES of HOLLAND that rebelled against the Spanish yoke and papal rule in 1579 who didn't KISS the toes of the bronze statue of Jupiter or Zeus (renamed Peter) in the Vatican.

From August to October 1566, a wave of idol-smashing (known as the Beeldenstorm) spread through the Low Countries. Calvinists, Anabaptists and Mennonites, angry with their being persecuted by the Roman Catholic Church and opposed to the Catholic images of saints (which in their eyes conflicted with the Second Commandment), destroyed statues in hundreds of churches and monasteries throughout the Netherlands. The Duke of Alba brought an army of Spanish regulars to the Low Countries in 1567 in order to crush all resistance to the King's will. William, forewarned of Alba's task of terror, resigned his offices and withdrew beyond the duke's reach into Germany, where from his refuge at Dillenburg he renewed efforts to thwart the suppression of the Netherlands ("Elijah ... ran" -- 1 Kings 18:46).

In 1566 William I of Orange had asked for Ottoman support. Suleiman the Magnificent claimed that he felt religiously close to the Protestants "since they did not worship idols, believed in one God and fought against the Pope and Emperor" (Muslims and the Gospel by Roland E. Miller p.208). He supported the Dutch together with the French and the English, as well as generally support Protestants and Calvinists, as a way to counter Habsburg attempts at supremacy in Europe (The Ottoman State and Its Place in World History by Kemal H. Karpat p.53). Remarkably, about 1570, the "Sea Beggars" (Protestants) wore a Crescent-shaped Geuzen medal, cast in silver, with the slogan "Liever Turks dan Paaps" ("Rather Turkish than Papist").

The Netherlands were once composed of seventeen Provinces, under the cruel rule of Philip II of Spain. After a 37-year struggle led by William the Silent (Prince of Orange and type of Elijah), Holland, Zealand, Utrecht, Friesland, Groningen, Overyssel and Guelderland gained independence in 1609 forming the Dutch Republic (Virgo is 1542-1585). They were symbolically "SLAIN" in the eyes of Rome. It is significant that the remnant "gave glory to the GOD of heaven" rather than saints or the Virgin Mary, showing that the Protestant religion had arrived. From these same United Provinces, a century later, God raised up the deliverer, William III, Prince of Orange (another type of Elijah), who defeated Popery in the British Isles on the banks of the River Boyne in July 1690, thereby preserving the Protestant character of the Royal Throne.

By means of the Counter-Reformation, the formation of the Jesuits (1540) and the Council of Trent (1545-1563), aided by the military might of Emperor Charles V and Philip of Spain and their successors, the Papacy halted and turned back the Reformation in non-Israelite European nations. In 1629, Emperor Ferdinand, by military might, restored all the ecclesiastical lands and offices in northern Germany to the Roman Catholic Church. But Israel went into idolatry in Solomon's reign (958 to 918 B.C.), bringing "seven times" or 2520 years punishment which ran out in 1562 to 1602 A.D. We should therefore expect Israel to start coming out of idolatry in that same era. The Treaty of Westphalia in 1648 was the end of the Reformation Era, and Switzerland, Denmark, Norway, Iceland, Sweden, England, Scotland, and Holland were established and recognized by international law as permanent Protestant nations. The Treaty of Ryswick, in 1697 made peace between Papal and Protestant nations of Europe. The Treaty of Carlowitz in 1699 seriously diminished the Ottoman Power. From the time of these two treaties, the power of Rome and Turkey has waned. Throughout the seventeenth century the Turks attacked the Holy Roman Empire and besieged Vienna. At the close of the century, the fourteenth Papal Crusade, with the united armies of Venice, Savoy, Germany, Austria and Poland turned the tide of battle. The "Second Woe ... passed" away in 1699 (Rev. 11:14) when Turkey signed the Treaty of Carlowitz with the Holy Roman Empire. Turkey gave up huge territories including Hungary, Transylvania, and the Ukraine. After that, there was no more fear of Turks invading central Europe. Turkey was again defeated in 1791 by Russia. All the events from Revelation 9:13 to 11:14 occurred during the era of the Sixth Trumpet or Second Woe. The Third Woe or the Seventh Trumpet came "quickly" in the eighteenth century. The growth of infidelity and atheistic Communism led to the French Revolution which began the final judgments on the Papacy.

An English fulfillment of Revelation 11: The Revocation of the Edict of Nantes took place on the 17th of October, 1685. The English Revolution followed in 1688 and the coronation of WILLIAM of ORANGE and Queen Mary took place on the 11th of April, 1689. The interval is THREE-AND-A-HALF YEARS. In the reign of William III the Bill of Rights was passed (1699). That bill made it impossible for any but a Protestant to sit on the throne of England. That Bill said to Protestants, "COME UP HERE." In March 1804 the British and Foreign Bible Society was established.

An Ulster fulfillment: Only two garrisons, Enniskillen and Londonderry (two witnesses), were loyal to Protestantism in all of Catholic Ireland. Catholic King James II demanded Londonderry's surrender. A volley of musket shots ("fire out of their mouths") and "No surrender" was the reply April 18, 1689. During the course of the siege, 8,000 died ("their dead bodies shall lie in the street"). Jacobites outside Derry were elated they had trapped the Protestants ("rejoice over them, and make merry") but three supply ships (three rotations around Argo) from the Prince of Orange relieved the inhabitants 28th July, 1689, ("the spirit of life from God entered into them [the SUN in Gemini] and they stood upon their feet, and great fear fell upon them who saw them"). The Jacobites were defeated at Newtownbutler by Enniskillen and 2,000 Jacobites were killed on 31st July 1689 ("turn water to blood"). On August 1st, James II and his army retreated to eventual defeat. The Siege of Londonderry lasted for 105 days just as from the SUN in Gemini to the moon in Sagittarius are 1260 degree months which equal 105 years. Also if we divide 105 (solar days) by 30 (a lunar day) we get 3 1/2 lunar days of siege.

Who were the French witnesses? The revocation of the Edict of Nantes and final HUGUENOT massacre occurred Oct. 22 1685. Then 105 years later, 10th July 1790, the National Assembly decreed that property of expelled Huguenots, unsold at date, confiscated by the Edict of Nantes, should be restored to their heirs. This was the "great voice from heaven" saying "COME UP HERE." From the death of these French witnesses to their resurrection was 105 years. Now 3 1/2 LUNAR DAYS are 105 earth-days. The moon turns upon its axis just once in 30 days. Consequently, one moon day is 30 times longer than one earth day. From 1685 when Huguenot witnesses were enslaved by French King Louis XIV by revoking the Edict of Nantes till the 10th July 1790 (National Assembly restored property) is 1260 months or 105 years. Prior to this, Aug. 26 1789 the Assembly adopted the Declaration of the Rights of Man and on Dec. 24 1789 issued a decree declaring all non-Catholic Frenchmen admissible to all offices, both civil and military -- "COME UP HERE." Even the THIRD ESTATE itself was invited by the "great voice" from the French throne to "COME UP HERE" May 5th, 1789. They outnumbered the Clergy (1st Estate) and Nobility (2nd estate) united by 67 votes and were a great CLOUD which inspired FEAR in the mind of king, nobles and clergy. They took possession of supreme power, disestablished the church, confiscated the estates of clergy and nobles, imprisoned and decapitated the king, abolished all titles, proclaimed faith in God a superstition, and proclaimed France a Republic, not a kingdom. All clergy had to be elected. Thousands were guillotined who were suspected of sympathizing with the former regime. This was called the "Reign of TERROR." This "EARTHQUAKE" caused a "TENTH (36) of the city (360) to fall." In other words, France was overthrown as a loyal part of the Holy Roman Empire. "The remnant were AFFRIGHTED, and gave glory to the God of heaven" (11:13). When people were tired of the terror, a public decree was made recognizing the existence of God and a future life, and convoking a national assembly in the Deity's honour June 8th, 1794. The assembly in honour of "the GOD of HEAVEN" was held in the presence of thousands -- Robespierre officiating as priest. The French people "acknowledged the existence of the Supreme Being" and "that the worship most worthy (of Him) ... is the practice of the duties of man." Instead of the inscription "To Reason" placed on the fronts of Temples, there was now inscribed, "To the Supreme Being." From 24 Nov 1793 when the churches of Paris were closed and converted to Temples of Reason and public reading of the Bible forbidden till April 1797 at the Easter Festival when churches were reopened and the Bible allowed again was 3 1/2 years exactly and another fulfillment of the Rev. 11:9-11 for the two witnesses being dead. (A. Aulard, Christianity and the French Revolution, page 108-109, 150-151).

Another French fulfillment: The Duke of SAVOY, the sovereign of the VAUDOIS, by an edict dated January 31st, 1686, forbade the exercise of their religion on pain of death and ordered their churches demolished and their ministers banished. SAVOY and French troops attacked them on the 22nd of April 1686. Many Vaudois were killed or imprisoned and permitted to depart about the beginning of December 1686 ("dead bodies lie in street"). Papists REJOICED ("they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them"). The VAUDOIS were kindly received by Holland, Brandenburg, Geneva and Switzerland. Towards the end of the year 1689, about THREE-AND-A-HALF YEARS after the attack on the 22nd of April, led by Henry Arnaud, they passed the Lake of Geneva secretly, and entering SAVOY with their swords in their hands they recovered their ancient possessions, and by the middle of April 1690, established themselves in it ("spirit of life entered into them"), notwithstanding the numerous encounters with and opposition from the troops of France (10,000) and SAVOY (12,000); of whom they, who were comparatively few, slew great numbers with inconsiderable loss (losing only 30); causing FEAR and TERROR in their enemies, till the Duke himself, who had now, left the French interest, by his League, and an Edict signed June 4th, 1690, just THREE-AND-A-HALF YEARS after their total dissipation, recalled the rest of them and re-established them with liberty to the French refugees also. ("COME UP HERE" decree). This fulfillment includes the resurrection of both the WALDENSES and ALBIGENSES -- two witnesses -- which have been a united people, and dwelt together in these valleys of Piedmont ever since the conclusion of the Crusades against the ALBIGENSES in the 13th century. After the Treaty of 1690, their privileges were constantly confirmed, and perfect liberty of conscience accorded them. "The Protestant powers continued their protection, and particularly England; for a pension by that country to the pastors under William and Mary, which was named the English Royal Subsidy; and this being found insufficient, in 1770 a general collection was made, the interest of which was paid under the name of the English National Subsidy." In Switzerland "studentships were established at the Universities of Geneva, Lausanne and Basle for the young Vaudois intended for the ministry." (Authentic Details of the Waldenses, pp. 389-390)

From the fall of paganism at the victory of Constantine at the Battle of Milvian Bridge, October 28th, 312, 1260 solar years extend to the massacre of St. Bartholemew in 1572. The Papal Era of Indictions began September 312 and the massacre of St. Bartholemew began 24th August 1572, the interval being exactly 1260 solar years. The period from the end of the Western Roman Empire, 22nd August, 476 to 26th January 1699 when the Peace of Carlowitz was signed is 1260 lunar years. This and the almost contemporaneous Peace of Ryswick, marked the inauguration of a new era in Papal and Mohammedan domination. From 747 B.C. to 476 A.D. (August) is 1260 lunar years and from 747 B.C. to 1774 A.D. is 2520 solar years. Also from the Imperial Restoration of Holy Roman Empire by Justinian (554) till Battle of Waterloo (1814) is 1260 solar years.

"And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned (Henry VIII to Queen Elizabeth). And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth (Spanish Armada; Duke of Alva). And the temple of God was opened in heaven (full moon in Sagittarius), and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament (Argo -- British Navy -- 1588): and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail (cannonfire)" (Rev. 11:16-19).

The 24 stars are in Ursa Minor (Lesser Sheepfold or "little flock") (11:16) and may be protected from the "great hail" (11:19) of stars rotating further out on the periphery that go behind the horizon.

If we add 1260 degree months (11:3) to 1483 (105 years), we arrive at 1587 when Mary Queen of Scots was beheaded (FULL MOON decapitated head in Sagittarius) and when Francis Drake sailed into a crowded Cadiz harbor and destroyed some 30 Spanish ships; and 1588 when the Spanish Armada was defeated (FULL MOON cannonball in Sagittarius: "temple of God was OPENED in heaven ... and there was seen the ark) (Argo -- British Navy -- Rev. 11:19). "The horse and his rider (Sagittarius) hath he thrown into the sea ... they sank ... as a stone ... as lead" (Ex. 15:1-10). First, Queen Elizabeth rejected Philip's overtures of marriage. Then the Spanish admiral, of great reputation and experience, was seized with fever and died just before departure of the Spanish Armada. Then the vice-admiral issued sailing orders and also sickened and died.

Although our Lord didn't literally return in the 1600s or 1700s, what did happen? This was the golden age of the Dutch Empire and then later the British Empire (1800s) and then still later the United States began to spread around the globe and dominate the globe (1900s). Being Israelite nations with the Bible and Protestant Christianity as their religion, and using modern technology for the benefit of mankind, they were truly "kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ" (11:15) in an imperfect way and raised the level of civilization much higher than it had been before. The Protestant Reformation's triumph began the foundation of the Stone Kingdom (Dan. 2:44-45) and the mountain of the Lord's house (Isa. 2:1-5) manifested humanly and imperfectly first by the British Empire and then by the United States. The four and twenty elders (24 stars in Ursa Minor or Lesser Sheepfold or "little flock" in the Arctic north; Alaska's flag is the Big Dipper, so by implication, Yukon is the Little Dipper) are in the Arctic (The term "Arctic" is derived from the star "Arctos" in Ursa Minor meaning "Stronghold of the saved." Also known as The Hesperides or "three little maids"). The "great hail" of stars appears to "hit the horizon" near the periphery as the star wheel turns but just circles harmlessly near the Little Dipper center. The two witnesses (Gemini) walk along the street (Milky Way) which ends after 3 1/2 rotations at Whitehorse Yukon (Sagittarius).

Just before our Messiah returns, two church leaders will again say to the pope (and possibly a caliph) "Let my people go" (Ex. 5:1); and to deceived Israel, "How long will you hesitate between two opinions" (1 Ki. 18:21). Just as John the Baptist restored "all things" (Matt. 17:11) in the Torah by removing talmudic traditions (since he was probably an Essene), so they will "restore all things" by preaching against Catholicism (and possibly Islam). Just as Zerubbabel and Jeshua completed the physical temple and restored its worship (Zech. 4:12-14), so the two witnesses will build the spiritual church and restore proper worship. Just as Greek scholars smuggled the Scriptures west which were then translated into a language the people could understand, so the two witnesses will make Bible symbolism plain. To "prophesy" is to "edify the church" (1 Cor. 14:4). "He shall turn the hearts of the FATHERS to the CHILDREN and the hearts of the CHILDREN to their FATHERS"(Mal. 4:6) meaning "If you were Abraham's CHILDREN, then you would do the things Abraham did ... If God were your FATHER, you would love me" (John 8:39-44). (keep my commandments -- "For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments" -- 1 John 5:3; John 14:15). Elijah thus turns the "disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord" (Luke 1:17). Moses taught the law (Mal. 4:4). After 3 1/2 years, they'll be assassinated then resurrected.

If the Protestant Reformation occurs again, this time in the United States, a likely parallel may develop with seven counties or 7000 from Lynden, Washington (Dutch) who might break away from Roman Catholic Aztlan and follow the history of the Netherlands, in addition to Vancouver Island ("the Stone" -- Dan. 2:34 & Matt. 21:43-44) or British Columbia breaking away parallelling Protestant Britain. The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done, is that which shall be done" (Eccl. 1:9). God says, "I change not" (Mal. 3:6). He is "the same yesterday, today and forever" (Heb. 13:8).
