Acts Chapter 19 Star Chart: Paul's confrontation before Gallio happened in the summer of 51 A.D. After a short period of time Paul returned to Antioch, in the fall of 51 A.D. After allowing winter to pass, Paul started his 3rd Missionary Journey (Acts 18-21) in spring of 52 A.D. Paul's journey brought him to Ephesus where he stayed for 2 years and 3 months. This brings us to summer of 54 A.D. Paul then passed through Macedonia in the fall and arrived in Greece where he spent 3 months (Acts 20:3). This would have been mid-winter A.D. 54/55. Returning through Macedonia during the spring (Acts 20:3), he sailed from Phillipi shortly after April (Acts 20:6). He arrived in Jerusalem in May/June A.D. 55, prior to Pentecost. Paul was arrested in Jerusalem in the summer of A.D. 55 and taken to Caesarea where he was confined for 2 years (Acts 24:27). This brings us to summer of A.D. 57. At that point, Paul left by ship for Rome (Acts 27:1-2). Luke says it was very slow going (Acts 27:7). They arrived eventually at Fair Havens on Crete, where they stayed until after the "fast" (i.e. Yom Kippur on 10 Tishri) was past. This would have been after Sept., of that year -- A.D. 57. They then set sail and were shipwrecked at Malta 14 days later, which would be in late October (Acts 27:27; 18:1). They stayed for 3 months (A.D. 57/58, Acts 28:11). In Feb. of A.D. 58, they set sail for Rome and arrived at Rome in the spring of 58 A.D. Paul remained in custody for 2 more years (Acts 28:30) which brings us up to 60 A.D. Paul was apparently freed shortly after this time as he predicted in Phil. 1:25. References to this time in 1 Clement 5 and the Muratorian Fragment make it probable that he visited Spain. This is also the most likely time for the writing of 1 and 2 Timothy and Titus (as well as Hebrews if, indeed he wrote that book). He then returned to Rome, where he was martyred in the summer of 64 A.D., in connection with the persecution instituted by Nero (2 Tim. 4:6).

Notice the CONICAL or PYRAMIDAL, BLACK STONE which FELL from the (lunar) CLOUDS -- a meteorite representing (Virgo) Diana (19:35). Pliny the Elder says nearly all writers state that the actual female image of Diana was made of EBONY wood (XVI, 216) -- BLACK Virgo covered with (white lunar) BREASTS. Clockwise from when Bootes begins to shout till Sagittarius stops shouting is 58° or "about the space of two hours" (19:34) crying "Great is Diana of the Ephesians." (Her lunar white breasts are quite large).

Clockwise from "when (Argo) Paul had laid his (lunar) hands upon them, the (Milky Way) Holy Ghost (Spirit) came on them; and they (red radius) spake with tongues, and prophesied. And all the men were about twelve" (Gemini, Argo, Orion, Auriga, Perseus, Aquarius, Sagittarius, Hercules, Ophiuchus, Bootes, Centaur) (19:6-7) till "he (Argo) went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months, (red radius) disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God" (19:8) is 90° days. "But when divers (Centaur) were hardened, and believed not, but (red radius) spake evil of that way before the multitude, he departed from them, and separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one (Bootes) Tyrannus. And this continued by the space of two years (19:9-10) or 2 laps is 720°. "And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: So that from his body were brought unto the sick (lunar white) handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the (Serpens, Hydra, Drago, Cetus) evil spirits went out of them" (19:11-12).

Black Stone of Diana "Fell Down From Heaven" Like Satan

19:1 And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,

2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost (Spirit) since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost (Spirit).

3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.

4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.

5 When they heard this, they were (Eridanus) baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

6 And when (Argo) Paul had laid his hands upon them, the (Milky Way) Holy Ghost (Spirit) came on them; and they (red radius) spake with tongues, and prophesied.

7 And all the men were about twelve (Gemini, Argo, Orion, Auriga, Perseus, Aquarius, Sagittarius, Hercules, Ophiuchus, Bootes, Centaur).

8 And (Argo) he went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months, (red radius) disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God.

9 But when divers (Centaur) were hardened, and believed not, but spake evil of that way before the multitude, he departed from them, and separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one (Bootes) Tyrannus.

10 And this continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.

11 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul:

12 So that from his body were brought unto the sick (lunar white) handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the (Serpens, Hydra, Drago, Cetus) evil spirits went out of them.

13 Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.

14 And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so.

15 And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?

16 And the man in whom the evil spirit was (Aquarius) leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and (red radius) wounded.

17 And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.

18 And many that believed came, and confessed, and shewed their deeds.

19 Many of them also which used curious arts brought their (scroll club) books together, and (solar) burned them before all (Gemini & Auriga) men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of (lunar) silver.

"How often in the ages of our fathers was it given in charge to the magistrates, to prohibit the performance of any foreign religious rites; to banish strolling sacrificers and soothsayers from the forum, the circus, and the city; to search for and burn books of divination; and to abolish every mode of sacrificing that was not conformable to the Roman practice." (Livy 39:16).

20 So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.

21 After these things were ended, Paul purposed in the spirit, when he had passed through Macedonia and Achaia, to go to Jerusalem, saying, After I have been there, I must also (lunar eyeballs) see Rome.

22 So he sent into Macedonia two of them that ministered unto him, (Gemini) Timotheus and Erastus; but he himself stayed in Asia for a season.

23 And the same time there arose no small stir about that way.

24 For a certain man named Demetrius, a silversmith, which made silver shrines for Diana, brought no small gain unto the craftsmen;

25 Whom he called together with the workmen of like occupation, and said, Sirs, ye know that by this craft we have our wealth.

26 Moreover ye (lunar eyeballs) see and (lunar ears) hear, that not alone at Ephesus, but almost throughout all Asia, this Paul hath persuaded and turned away much people, saying that they be no gods, which are made with hands:

27 So that not only this our craft is in danger to be set at nought; but also that the temple of the great goddess Diana should be despised, and her magnificence should be destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worshippeth.

28 And when they (lunar ears) heard these (red radius) sayings, they were full of wrath, and (Centaur red radius) (lunar breast) cried out, saying, Great is Diana of the Ephesians.(18° minutes before the 2-hour chant)

29 And the whole city was filled with confusion: and having caught Gaius and Aristarchus, men of Macedonia, Paul's companions in travel, they rushed with one accord into the theatre.

30 And when Paul would have entered in unto the people, the disciples suffered him not.

31 And certain of the chief of Asia, which were his friends, sent unto him, desiring him that he would not adventure himself into the theatre.

32 Some therefore cried one thing, and some another: for the assembly was confused: and the more part knew not wherefore they were come together.

33 And they drew Alexander out of the multitude, the Jews putting him forward. And Alexander beckoned with the hand, and would have made his defence unto the people.

34 But when they knew that he was a Jew, all (Bootes, Hercules, Ophiuchus, Sagittarius) with one voice about the space of two hours (60°) cried out, Great is Diana of the Ephesians.

35 And when the townclerk (Aquarius) had appeased the people (42° later), he said, Ye men of Ephesus, what man is there that knoweth not how that the city of the Ephesians is a worshipper of the great (lunar white breast) goddess Diana, and of the image which fell down from Jupiter (from heaven)?

"In the Tauric territory Diana possesses altars, and there is the image of the goddess, which they say, fell down from heaven into these shrines." (Eurip. Iph. in Taur. 86)

"A brazen buckler fell down from heaven into the hands of Numa." (Plut. Num. 13)

"Those who beheld this statue, believed that they either saw Ceres herself, or that the image was not made by hands, but had fallen from heaven." (Cicero in Verr. 6:72)

"The heavenly statue of the armed Minerva is said to have fallen on the heights of the city of Ilus." (Ovid Fast. 6:421)

The word "diopetes" implies a meteorite. We are told that the image of Aphrodite (Venus) in the sanctuary of Paphos was simply a white CONE or PYRAMID; that the emblem of Astarte at Byblus was a CONE. And that the image of Artemis (Diana) at Perga in Pamphylia was also a CONE. We are told that the image of the sun god, Heliogabalus, at Emesa in Syria was a CONE of BLACK stone with SMALL KNOBS on it, and that it appears on coins of Emesa. We are told that the sacred stone of Cybele brought from Pessinus to Rome during the Second Punic War was a small BLACK rugged stone, but we do not know whether it was of conical shape. We are also told that CONICAL stones, which were apparently considered sacred, have been found at Golgi, in Cyprus, in the Phoenician temples at Malta, and in the Shrine of the Mistress of Torquoise in Sinai.

Many cities pretended to have been favored in a similar manner with images or statues of the gods, sent directly from heaven. The safety of Troy was supposed to depend on the Palladium, or image of Pallas Minerva, which was believed to have fallen from heaven (Virg. Aen. ii. 183). Numa pretended that the ancilia, or sacred shields, had descended from heaven. Herodian expressly affirms that "the Phoenicians had no statue of the sun polished by the hand, but only a certain large stone, circular below, and terminated acutely above in the figure of a CONE, of a BLACK color, and that they believed it to have fallen from heaven." The same thing was affirmed of the ancient Minerva of the Athenian Acropolis (Paus., Att. 26); of the Paphian Venus, and the Ceres of Sicily (Cic. in Verr., v. 187). Among the earliest meteoritic events having come down to us from our own Antiquity is the fall of a stone in Phrygia, near the city of Pessinus (120 km SW of today's Ankara), around 470 B.C. This "Phrygian Stone," which was CONE-SHAPED, was worshipped in connexion with the Great Mother Goddess Cybele. It has been supposed by some that this image at Ephesus was merely a CONICAL or PYRAMIDAL stone which fell from the CLOUDS - a meteorite - and that it was regarded with superstitious reverence, as having been sent from heaven. It is remarkable that Satan also "fell from heaven" (Luke 10:18; Isaiah 14:12-14; Ez. 28:12-18).

36 Seeing then that these things cannot be spoken against, ye ought to be quiet, and to do nothing rashly.

37 For ye have brought hither these men, which are neither robbers of churches, nor yet blasphemers of your goddess.

38 Wherefore if Demetrius, and the craftsmen which are with him, have a matter against any man, the law is open, and there are deputies: let them implead one another.

39 But if ye enquire any thing concerning other matters, it shall be determined in a lawful assembly.

40 For we are in danger to be called in question for this day's uproar, there being no cause whereby we may give an account of this concourse.

41 And when he had thus spoken, he dismissed the assembly.
