20:1 And the (Shekinah) Lord spake unto (Ophiuchus) Moses, saying,

2 Again, thou shalt say to the (Gemini) children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the (Gemini) children of Israel, or of the (Perseus, Cepheus) strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his (lunar baby) seed unto (Taurus) Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the (Gemini) people of the land shall (lunar) (red radius) stone him with (lunar) stones.

Cleitarchus' paraphrase of a scholium to Plato's Republic has a description of the practice which predates the fall of Carthage in 146 BC: "There stands in their midst a bronze statue of Kronos, its hands extended over a bronze brazier, the flames of which engulf the child. When the flames fall upon the body, the limbs contract and the open mouth seems almost to be laughing until the contracted body slips quietly into the brazier. Thus it is that the 'grin' is known as 'sardonic laughter,' since they die laughing." (trans. Paul G. Mosca) Diodorus Siculus (20.14): "There was in their city a bronze image of Cronus extending its hands, palms up and sloping toward the ground, so that each of the children when placed thereon rolled down and fell into a sort of gaping pit filled with fire." Diodorus also relates that relatives were forbidden to weep and that when Agathocles defeated Carthage, the Carthaginian nobles believed they had displeased the gods by substituting low-born children for their own children. They attempted to make amends by sacrificing 200 children of the best families at once, and in their enthusiasm actually sacrificed 300 children.

Freeman in The History of Sicily from the Earliest Times (1894) states that the Carthaginian nobles had acquired and raised children not of their own for the express purpose of sacrificing them to the god. The author states that during the siege, the 200 high-born children were sacrificed in addition to another 300 children who were initially saved from the fire by the sacrifice of these acquired substitutes. Plutarch wrote in De Superstitione 171: "... but with full knowledge and understanding they themselves offered up their own children, and those who had no children would buy little ones from poor people and cut their throats as if they were so many lambs or young birds; meanwhile the mother stood by without a tear or moan; but should she utter a single moan or let fall a single tear, she had to forfeit the money, and her child was sacrificed nevertheless; and the whole area before the statue was filled with a loud noise of flutes and drums that the cries of wailing should not reach the ears of the people. The 12th-century Rashi, commenting on Jeremiah 7:31 stated: Tophet is Moloch, which was made of brass; and they heated him from his lower parts; and his hands being stretched out, and made hot, they put the child between his hands, and it was burnt; when it vehemently cried out; but the priests beat a drum, that the father might not hear the voice of his son, and his heart might not be moved. A rabbinical tradition attributed to the Yalkout of Rabbi Simeon,[14] says that the idol was hollow and was divided into seven compartments, in one of which they put flour, in the second turtle-doves, in the third a ewe, in the fourth a ram, in the fifth a calf, in the sixth an ox, and in the seventh a child, which were all burned together by heating the statue inside.

3 And I will set my face against that man, and will (Perseus) (red radius) cut him off from among his (Gemini, Cepheus & Perseus) people; because he hath given of his (lunar) seed unto (Taurus) Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.

4 And if the (Gemini) people of the land do any ways hide their (lunar) eyes from the man, when he giveth of his (lunar baby) seed unto (Taurus) Molech, and (red radius) kill him not:

5 Then I will set my (Ophiuchus) face against that (Hercules) man, and against his family, and will (Perseus) (red radius) cut him off, and all that go a whoring after him, to commit whoredom with (Taurus) Molech, from among their (Gemini) people.

6 And the soul that turneth after such as have (Milky Way) familiar spirits, and after (red radius wand and pointed cap) wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will (Perseus) (red radius) cut him off from among his people.

7 Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye (red radius) holy: for I am the (Shekinah) Lord your God.

8 And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them: I am the (Shekinah) Lord which sanctify you.

9 For every one that curseth his (Castor) father or his (Pollux) mother shall be surely (red radius) put to death: he hath cursed his (Castor) father or his (Pollux) mother; his (red radius) blood shall be upon him.

10 And the (Pollux) man that committeth (red radius) adultery with another man's (Castor) wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be (red radius) put to death.

11 And the (Pollux) man that lieth with his father's (Castor) wife hath uncovered his father's nakedness: both of them shall surely be (red radius) put to death; their (red radius) blood shall be upon them.

12 And if a (Pollux) man lie with his (Castor) daughter in law, both of them shall surely be (red radius) put to death: they have wrought confusion; their (red radius) blood shall be upon them.

13 If a (Pollux) man also lie with (Castor) mankind, as he lieth with a (Castor) woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to (red radius) death; their (red radius) blood shall be upon them.

14 And if a (Pollux) man take a (Castor) wife and her (Castor) mother, it is wickedness: they shall be (solar) burnt with fire, both he and they; that there be no wickedness among you.

The punishment of death, was to be by stoning, according to Leviticus 20:2, Leviticus 20:27, and Deuteronomy 22:21.; and by the burning (Leviticus 20:14) we are not to understand death by fire, or burning alive, but, as we may clearly see from Joshua 7:15 and Joshua 7:25, burning the corpse after death. This was also the case in Leviticus 21:9 and Genesis 38:24.

15 And if a (Pollux) man lie with a (Big Dog, Taurus, Aries) beast, he shall surely be (red radius) put to death: and ye shall (Perseus) (red radius) slay the beast.

16 And if a (Castor) woman approach unto any (Big Dog, Taurus, Aries, Drago, Serpens) beast, and lie down thereto, thou shalt (Perseus) (red radius) kill the (Castor) woman, and the beast: they shall surely be (Perseus) (red radius) put to death; their (red radius) blood shall be upon them.

17 And if a (Pollux) man shall take his (Castor) sister, his father's daughter, or his mother's daughter, and (lunar eyeballs) see her nakedness, and she (lunar eyeballs) see his nakedness; it is a wicked thing; and they shall be (Perseus) (lunar eyeballs) cut off in the (lunar eyeballs) sight of their (Gemini, Cepheus, Perseus, Ophiuchus and Hercules) people: he hath uncovered his sister's nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.

uncovering nakedness plainly appears to mean not marriage, but fornication or adultery. Cut off probably refers to some special form of public excommunication, accompanied, it may be, by expulsion from the camp.

Seeing is here understood for touching her or lying with her; for, the sense of seeing is oft put for other senses, as for hearing, Genesis 42:1, compared with Acts 7:12 Exodus 20:18 Revelation 1:12; and for touching, as John 20:25,29. That act is expressed by words parallel to this of seeing, as by uncovering, or discovering, and by knowing, Genesis 4:1. So it is directly explained in the following words, he hath uncovered his sister’s nakedness, which manifestly signifies lying with her. It is not probable that an equal punishment would have been appointed to an immodest sight, and to the highest act of filthiness. Nor seems there to be any reason why this crime should be restrained to this rather than to any other relations, when it was as great, yea, a greater crime in some other relations. In the sight of their people, i.e. publicly, for the terror and caution of others.

Take her to be his wife, or commit lewdness with her, it is not lawful to marry her, or lie with her, see Leviticus 18:9, and see her nakedness, and she see his nakedness; which is not to be understood of an immodest view, exposing to each other what should not be seen, and pleasing themselves with such obscene sights, but of the act of lying together, for so it is afterwards explained by a phrase frequently used to express that action by; and it denotes, as Aben Ezra observes, their mutual consent and agreement in it:

18 And if a (Pollux) man shall lie with a (Castor) woman having her (red radius menstrual) sickness, and shall uncover her nakedness; he hath discovered her (red radius) fountain, and she hath uncovered the fountain of her (red radius) blood: and both of them shall be (Perseus) (red radius) cut off from among their people.

19 And thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother's (Castor) sister, nor of thy father's (Castor) sister: for he uncovereth his near kin: they shall bear their iniquity.

20 And if a (Pollux) man shall lie with his uncle's (Castor) wife, he hath uncovered his uncle's nakedness: they shall bear their sin; they shall die childless.

21 And if a (Pollux) man shall take his brother's (Castor) wife, it is an unclean thing: he hath uncovered his brother's nakedness; they shall be childless.

22 Ye shall therefore keep all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: that the (Cetus) land, whither I bring you to dwell therein, spue you not out.

23 And ye shall not (Ophiuchus) walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.

24 But I have (red radius) said unto you, Ye shall inherit their land, and I will give it unto you to possess it, a land that floweth with (Milky Way lunar white) milk and (solar golden) honey: I am the Lord your God, which have (red radius) separated you (Ophiuchus) from other (Gemini) people.

25 Ye shall therefore put difference between (Aries & Taurus) clean beasts and (Scorpio, Big Dog, Drago, Ursa Minor, Cetus) unclean, and between unclean fowls and clean: and ye shall not make your souls abominable by beast, or by fowl, or by any manner of living thing that (Scorpio, Drago, Serpens) creepeth on the ground, which I have (red radius) separated from you as unclean.

26 And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the Lord am holy, and have (Perseus) (red radius) severed you from other (Gemini) people, that ye should be mine.

27 A (Pollux) man also or (Castor) woman that hath a (Milky Way) familiar spirit, or that is a (red radius wand) wizard, shall surely be put to (red radius) death: they shall (lunar and solar) stone them with stones: their (red radius) blood shall be upon them.
