God's Hidden Message in
"Chariots of Fire"

Does God still speak to men by means of visions and dreams? He says, "I change not" (Mal. 3:6). God is "the same yesterday, today and forever" (Heb. 13:8). If He spoke that way in the past, we can be certain he still speaks that way today -- by means of visions and dreams. But where are they? The movie "Chariots of Fire" is one such vision. How do we know? Because of amazing parallels that have occurred between reality and the events portrayed by the movie. Real-life events transpired in 1980-82 (and after) which paralleled the movie script. Uncanny parallels -- too many for mere haphazard chance. It is truly -- "an Enigma."

"Let us praise (not criticize) famous men and our fathers that begat us. All these men were honoured (not dishonoured) in their generations and were a glory in their days. We are here today to give thanks for the life of Harold Abrahams. To honour the legend. Now there are just two of us - young Aubrey Montague and myself - who can close our eyes and remember those few young men with hope in our hearts and wings on our heels."

There are at least four references to "chariots of fire" in the Bible. The first is 2 Kings 2:11 which mentions Elijah being taken away in a chariot of fire. The second is 2 Kings 6:17 which mentions Elisha being protected by many chariots of fire. The third is Isaiah 66:15 which says "the Lord will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire." Fourth, "The chariots of God are twenty thousand" (Ps. 68:17).

Many members of the Worldwide Church of God have been struck and fascinated by the close parallels to reality contained in this movie. What parallels?

Running represents the "ritual of human endeavor" (p.175, Chariots of Fire by Weatherby). Priests wore short breeches (Ex. 28:42) made of linen (Ex. 39:28) and went barefoot into the Sanctuary (Ex. 3:5; Josh. 5:15). Their fine white linen is their righteousness (Rev. 19:8). Thirty runners (p.105) may correspond to the thirty mighty men of David (2 Sam. 23:13,23). Just like Scripture, the movie deals with primarily three (vv. 9,13,16-19, 22-23) -- Eric, Harold and Andrew. At the beginning of the movie, all 30 are labeled as "Chariots of Fire" just as Elijah was called "the chariot of Israel" (2 Ki. 2:12). As the movie closes, Blake's Jerusalem labels Christ a "chariot of fire" -- our Lord returning. Waters in the background are multitudes of people (Rev. 17:15). Just as the movie's three main runners were "British," so also the church believes in "British-Israel" doctrine in Pasadena. Furthermore, every true Christian (of whatever race) is a "Covenant man" or "Brit ish" in Hebrew (Gal.3:29). The music blasts the shofar WARNING of impending doom (Jer. 4:19) by WARNER Brothers and the Ladd Company! Rasmussen was director (a student by that name fulfilled that type).

Each European character and location also has its North American counterpart. For instance, Cambridge and Caius (a Roman name) in England and the training "Camp" in France all may refer to Ambassador College. One student even labelled the dorm with a poster of England in a hall showcase outside. The French are called "FROGS" which can refer to unclean spirits (Rev. 16:13) -- "rank amateurs". We wrestle against "wicked spirits in high places" (Eph. 6:12). This implies that France, and its anti-type America, will become a "habitation of DEMONS" (Rev. 9; 16:14; 18:1). When American ministers, businesses and policemen harrass their congregations, customers and citizens, perhaps we should attribute this to demon activity. The French and Americans have exchanged their rights under Common Law for privileges under Admiralty Law and ENFRANCHISED themselves. By taking an OATH, they were stripped NAKED (Rev. 3:17)(see above). The symbol of the French is a rooster (coq in French). By a pun in Latin (Gallus = Galois, gailus = coq) it also means French. The United States with its large Statue of LIBERTY is the anti-type of France with its small Statue of LIBERTY. Both flags are RED, WHITE and BLUE. Both are REPUBLICS emphasizing the "RIGHTS of MAN." Just as the English channel SEPARATES Europe from the island of BRITAIN, so also the Juan De Fuca Strait SEPARATES the U.S. from the island portion of BRITISH Columbia. Washington State typifies the much larger Washington DC corporation. Washington State has a "NORMANDY Park" just like NORMANDY France; and OLYMPIA Washington with OLYMPIC Mountains typifies the OLYMPIC games. A small Statue of LIBERTY on Alki Beach parallels the Statue of LIBERTY in Paris France. Seattle typifies Paris. "The streets of Paris" (Seattle) are filled with temptation. Just south of the Canadian border is Lynden, Washington -- home to a DUTCH community with windmills, tulips, etc. just like the DUTCH of Europe who are south of England. The city of VICTORIA parallels VICTORIA Station in England. California typifies Spain. Cities in California have Spanish names. Coin shops in Seattle sell GOLD and SILVER "medals". But customers are harrassed. The Seattle Police Department consisted of about 30 officers in 2013. They oversee the transactions in the coin shops. Accusations of being "ANTI-CATHOLIC" or "RACIST" for believing that the "WHITE RACE" (runners in white) descend from ancient Israel were made. If we can admit to ten parallels, then there is only one chance in (5x5x5x5x5x5x5x5x5x5 =) 9,765,625 that this is coincidence.

"Japanese marionettes" are Bunraku puppets with no suspended strings. Instead they have a hole in the back for the puppeteer's hand that operates internal strings. The puppeteers dress in black robes and cover their heads completely with a black hood that looks like a POPE'S miter. The puppets are very life-like but are only 2/3 size and their faces are white with fright. (They therefore parallel the munchkins of the Wizard of Oz -- stunted growth.) What is this analogy telling us? Herbert Armstrong was a PUPPETEER controlling his ministers and employees, telling them who to criticize and publicly embarrass, even to the point of speaking through them and telling them exactly what to say (the listener would not know who was doing the speaking). No religious freedom. Not allowed to grow spiritually due to an AMATEUR CODE. They had all ENFRANCHISED by signing contracts. HWA used his oratory and "strong arm" MESMERIZING techniques for SELF-EXALTATION to awe the audience so he could POSSESS other people's MINDS with his own, and make their WILLS subject to his own. One student told him this was demeaning and humiliating other Christians and not following the principle of "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

The American Team chants "USA, USA, USA" just like many Roman Catholics chant "Viva Papa, Viva Papa, Viva Papa" in their IDOLATROUS frenzy. Specifically, do Jackson Sholtz and Charles H. Paddock represent the Beast and False Prophet? "Yank" sounds like "ANKH", a pagan cross still used in the design of clerical robes, etc. Lord Birkenhead said the Americans "do have a NUMBER OF MEN (666 -- "the number of a man" [Rev. 13:18]) who RANK (stink) as WORLD BEATERS" (p. 109. Chariots of Fire). (cp. Ps. 115:6-8). This can be taken two ways. Does it mean they "overcame the world", and were world-beaters (1 John 5:4). Or does it mean they persecuted Christian students from around the world? We know they tried to publicly embarrass anybody who would not be a puppet. The counterparts of Paddock and Sholtz at Ambassador College fulfilled both roles:

The "CALIFORNIA CANNONBALL" was a "CANON" of the church, in Pasadena, CALIFORNIA. He was paid $60,000 a year to do about SIX hours of work each week and "came in a disappointing SIXTH". He condemned sadness as a sin even though his own Savior was a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. He condemned the Talmud as completely evil when a large part of the New Testament is based on it (see Strack & Billerbeck's Commentary & Jerusalem at the Time of Jesus by Jeremias). He believed the cross was a stake with no cross-beam but Genesis chapter 3:15 illustrates Argo's mast with a cross member. He would continually make students "FEEL GAY" with his sermons against homosexuality. Yet he had been a homosexual and perhaps still was. Christ commanded, "First remove the log from thine own eye, then you'll be able to see (you're currently blind) to remove the speck from your neighbor's eye" (Matt. 7:5). "Being past feeling" and filled with "greediness", he gave himself over to lewd and obscene "uncleanness" (Eph 4:19). "My flock eat what you have trampled and drink what you have fouled" (Ez. 34:19). His lewd and obscene thoughts were swimming in "the depths of Satan" (Rev. 2:24) and contrary to thinking on good things (Phil. 4:8). HWA described RCM as "a HARSH task-master over the ministers ... (causing) CONTENTION, irritation ... competitive, covetous of power and status, and self-righteous ... you lack the charisma to lead ... you REPEL people ... You have a will to lead, but not the qualifications." (14th March 1980 Letter from HWA to RCM). A student nullified all contracts and agreements between any student (past, present or future) and the college faculty and church over his objection. True to form, RCM also continued to habitually engage in character assassination, first against Leona McNair (c.1984), then Larry Salyer, Raymond McNair, J. Edwin Pope, and Norbert Link (1998), and then Patrick Scarborough (2015) (RCM Crimes, Sept. 17, 2016). "RCM's middle name was "Carl" -- like Charles or Charlie. In Hebrew, "Mered" means "rebel."

The "NEW YORK THUNDERBOLT" called Christians "a bunch of losers" when they are the only real winners (Rev. 2:7). He locked students out of the cafeteria when they had pre-paid for their meals. "Students were not allowed to discuss the Bible in the cafeteria unless a minister is present." (No freedom of speech). This "Dean of Students" (GRA) told newly converted members to just obey him (no mention of Jesus Christ); he based ordination to the ministry on how well each candidate could betray, deceive and fault-find a fellow Christian (rather than on the qualifications found in Titus & Timothy); and yelled and screamed like a "THUNDERBOLT" laying guilt trips on innocent Christians (rather than doing unto others as he would have them do to him). He continually tried to entrap and interrogate Christians using tape recorders, in order "to catch something out of (their) ... mouth" (Luke 11:54). Rebuking was exclusively a ministerial right according to him. Yet the Bible says it is the right and duty of everyone (Lev. 19:17; Pr. 26:5; Isa. 58:1; Ez. 33:6; Matt. 18:15-17). But his hypocritical persecution came full circle as the whole campus began practising this duty. He had to try to understand it rather than condemn it. "The way of the wicked is like darkness; they know not at what they stumble" (Pr. 4:19). Remarkably, he gave a sermon on "The Antichrist" based on Arthur Pink's work. He stood "in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be" (2 Th. 2:4) someone we should blindly obey. After HWA died, and the WCG closed its doors, many of the top American "ministers" revealed their true colors. At the 1998 Annual Conference of Evangelical Ministries of New Religions, G.R.A stated, "I believe we have judged his teachings ... virtually all his teachings are in error ...[HWA] was a heretic." One student was offered his tuition money back. If he had taken it, he would have been immediately "dropped" that very day by the Dean of Students who had the papers in his hand ready. Instead, the student gained more time and was given a public "forfeit of all the accusations" by HWA.

"Church Government" IDOLATRY at A.C. was nothing less than "blind obedience" (AMATEUR code) and was taught strictly by both the Dean of Students and this senior "Head of the Ministry". Students suffered VERBAL BEATINGS by both men, and therefore students had to "run against" them for about two years (200 meters). In fact this movie was an ANSWER to PRAYER for vindication. It is proof GOD ANSWERS PRAYER today. Sholtz, Watson, Abrahams, Murchison, Paddock and Bowman spell SWAMP. Ambassador College's stamp of approval -- graduation and ordination to the ministry -- became a sort of "MARK" of the beast. These required IDOLATRY. But rebellion to tyrants is obedience to God.

We are convinced this movie is a vision from God. We have not even included many additional parallels in this short article. When there are no MIRACLES, it is because "We see not our (zodiac) SIGNS; there is no more any PROPHET (to interpret), neither is there among us any that knoweth HOW LONG" (Ps. 74:9). But we know that (zodiac) SIGNS and MIRACLES follow the saints and confirm their ministry and His message ( Ex. 4:3-9; Nu. 16:28-35; Judges 6:11-21; 1 Sam. 12:17-18; 1 Ki. 17:24; 18:37-39; 2 Ki. 20:8-11; Matt. 11:2-5; Mark 16:17-20; John 5:36; Acts 2:22; 8:6; Heb. 2:3-4). "He revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets" (Amos 3:7). To Noah was given the rainbow, which had not appeared prior to his time (Gen. 9:11-17). To Ahaz God said, "A virgin shall conceive" (Isa. 7:14). To Abraham, "a smoking furnace and a burning lamp" were displayed (Gen. 15:17). To Hezekiah, the shadow went ten degrees backward on the dial of Ahaz (2 Ki. 20:11; Isa. 38:8) and in the case of Gideon, "the fleece was wet, and all the ground about it was dry". Then afterward, "it was dry, and all the ground about was wet" (Judges 6:38-40). They were told HOW LONG and given (zodiac) SIGNS.

But what is the vision telling us? The movie Chariots of Fire seems to dove-tail into chapter 10 of the Apocalypse. Notice that both the movie and Revelation chapter 10 have 1.) RUNNERS dressed in WHITE holding TORCHES. 2.) Both also have the CHARIOT OF FIRE imagery that occurs simultaneously (Auriga; movie title), as well as 3.) "WINGS ON our HEELS" (Perseus; movie intro). 4.) The theme of both seems to be GREEK OYLMPICS with a GOLD MEDAL as the prize. 5.) Both have THREE LITTLE MAIDS (Ursa Minor; Savoy Theater). 6.) Both run for CAMBRIDGE England. 7.) Both mention a SEVEN-HEADED SNAKE (Sybil; Rev. 12:3; 17:3) and 8.) FROGS if we broaden the focus slightly (French; Cancer -- Rev. 15-16). 9.) Both have a SWAMP (Sholtz, Watson, Abrahams, Murchison, Paddock; Rev. 17:1; Jer. 51:13). Recall that the Euphrates (Tiber; Hudson) ran through Babylon (Rome; NY) and sometimes overflowed its banks. Even Meccah had a flood problem. 10.) Both have a Foucault PENDULUM or METRONOME. 11.) Luther and Zwingli may correspond to Eric (HWA, etc.) and Harold (HLH, etc.), and a whole host of Christians who ignite the Renaissance and Protestant Reformation (Milky Way). 12.) Both have a theme of PRESERVING & UPHOLDING SCRIPTURE in spite of COERCION and INTIMIDATION. Remember Galileo! There were TWO GOLD MEDALISTS in the movie. SAMSON is similar to the "MIGHTY ANGEL" (Sam's son; Rev. 10:1). Etcetera. When King Yeshua returns, the real Protestant Reformation will occur, making the reigns of King Henry VIII and Queen Elizabeth pale by comparison. If we can admit to at least ten parallels, then there is only one chance in 5x5x5x5x5x5x5x5x5x5 = 9,765,625 that this is coincidence. Therefore we conclude that they are both dealing with a SIMILAR SUBJECT MATTER. On 26th May, 1453, as the sun ignites the Olympic torch held by Orion, the fiery chariot sun-wheel aligns under Auriga the Charioteer and the Milky Way becomes a long stream of runners dressed in white or "chariots of fire" heading west to universities and printing presses in western Europe to ignite the Renaissance and Protestant Reformation. These Christian "stars" are fleeing from Constantinople before the Moslem Turks take over which will result in destruction of everything Christian, and no religious freedom. If CONSTANTINOPLE parallels WASHINGTON D.C. -- both EASTERN CAPITOLS built on SEVEN HILLS and named after CHRISTIAN GENERALS -- then we can expect a similar scenario for the UNITED STATES which is the anti-type of the ROMAN EMPIRE in general, or France in particular. "Babylon the Great is fallen (Roman Empire --ch.17) is fallen" (United States -- ch.18) (Rev. 18:2) -- TWICE. "Thy will be done in earth, as it is in (the zodiac) heaven" (Matt. 6:10).

But where does this Protestant Reformation take hold and blossom fully? Not in Florence Italy. Not at Wartburg Castle in Germany, or even in Basel Switzerland or Rotterdam Holland, but in a place called "WHITEHORSE Inn" at the University of Cambridge in BRITAIN where all the Bible students at Cambridge met with Tynedale. Look at a starchart. Where does the stream (Milky Way) of Christian scholars run to? What is their final destination? Sagittarius -- a WHITE HORSE (The Milky Way flows well inside the Sagittarius constellation). Where is this WHITEHORSE in the North American continent? Just north of BRITISH Columbia -- in the Yukon. In Revelation 12:6, "the prepared" is "Ha KUN" and "prepared place" is "YAD KUN" in Hebrew. See Strong's Hebrew #3027 and #3559. If the Book of Revelation was originally written in Hebrew, with 22 chapters for 22 Hebrew letters, then "PLACE PREPARED" may have actually sounded alot like the English name "YUKON". Notice the "SIGN" pointing to the white dot on this map. Dots on maps are towns. Our Lord gives us a map of where to flee to. Christians from Washington D.C. (the yellow dot on this map which is aflame), students from Ambassador College (Cambridge), and any other Bible followers, should travel there and meet together with our Lord in a resurrection. The race must come at a time when PRESERVING Christian truth is paramount because of a Moslem invasion and/or an EMP. From Washington D.C. to Pasadena, and all points between, Christians must race to WHITEHORSE Yukon. PRESERVING the Judeo-Christian way of life from extinction and then RESTORING it to the west was certainly worthy of a gold medal and a blue ribbon. They meet together with our Lord Yeshua in a resurrection and start a new Reformation and a new Renaissance. "And the people came up out of the Jordan on the tenth day of the first month" (Joshua 4:19). These are the Bible followers who will mount up onto WHITE HORSES (Rev. 19) as part of Christ's returning cavalry. They obey our Lord and "flee Babylon" (U.S. -- Rev. 18:4) rather than conforming to false idolatrous religion. They RESTORED his truth that had been lost in the "dark ages" of Europe and will again be lost when America has its "dark age."

PRESERVING and DISTRIBUTING the Greek manuscripts (Orion) came JUST BEFORE both the Renaissance and Protestant Reformation. This same scenario may occur again if Washington D.C. (paralleling Constantinople) and the eastern United States (paralleling eastern Europe) are invaded by Islam. Bible followers flee west and then head north to Whitehorse, Yukon PRESERVING the Bible way of life and paralleling Elijah's work (Mal.4:5-6) RESTORING "all things" (Matt. 17:11-- spiritual education). This will be one element in the Millenium RENAISSANCE and a new "Protestant REFORMATION" led by our Lord Yeshua (paralleling Martin Luther, Tyndale and King Henry VIII). This may involve PRESERVING many web sites and books -- the best in American Judeo-Christian society -- before the end of this way of life. Perhaps an EMP will remove the beneficial influence of many Christians from America. That is why the preservation of truth is so important. Eastern Europe became very dark. "The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done, is that which shall be done" (Eccl. 1:9). God says, "I change not" (Mal. 3:6). He is "the same yesterday, today and forever" (Heb. 13:8).

Just as Elijah PRESERVED and RESTORED the TRUTH in Israel during and after it apostasized, so also Bible students at A.C. (Cambridge) in the WCG have PRESERVED the TRUE DOCTRINES of the WCG before that church finally apostasized when HWA died. Otherwise that light of truth would have been snuffed out. The movie dealt with the prejudices and injustices against Bible-followers as they PRESERVE and RESTORE the TRUTH (gold medal). This message should be applied to a larger theater of the United States. The entire United States is becoming anti-Christian just as Ambassador College apostasized. America is apostasizing and dying just as Herbert Armstrong died. America is becoming prejudiced against Bible-followers as it enters a new dark age. God himself has become "persona non grata" just as He was at A.C. This is happening now. But turn the (Orion) spotlight 180° and focus the (Orion) magnifier 180° opposite and you'll see the real problem. Its not the people rebelling -- it's the (Scorpio) government apostasizing. All fifty states allow same-sex marriage and abortion. Prayer and Bible reading have been banned in public schools. Posting the ten commandments is banned. All allow fiat currency. Christians must take what is worthwhile in our American society and PRESERVE and RESTORE IT. Flee any oppressive religious "Babylon" (18:4) and PRESERVE your Biblical heritage. This includes PRESERVING both books and websites --before an EMP and before a RAPTURE. Do not conform to the expanding apostasy and idolatry. "Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh (in 2026), shall he find the Faith (Bible followers) on the earth?" (Luke 18:8)

Recall that Elijah was such a fast marathon RUNNER that he beat Ahab's chariot from Mt. Carmel to Jezreel -- 23 miles away. Each of these "Elijahs" may be like a "chariot of fire" (2 Ki. 2:11-12) since the sun forms the fiery WHEEL of Auriga's chariot at the same time it is a Greek OLYMPIC TORCH. "For, behold, the Lord will come with FIRE, and WITH HIS CHARIOTS like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of FIRE" (Isa. 66:15) -- Auriga with the star Capella -- the Charioteer with his chariot superimposed. Anciently Leo, Ursa Major and Ursa Minor were all given the chariot symbol as well. The stephanos (sun CROWN made of leaves of gold) was given to victors in the GREEK GAMES. The same word is used of the CROWN of life (James 1:12; 2 Tim. 4:8) and CROWN of thorns (Matt. 27:29). Astronomically, Orion's hand is lifted up to heaven as it holds an open book. In order to COME BACK with Christ, as CHARIOTS of FIRE, we must be resurrected and TAKEN AWAY with him first in a secret "rapture".

The date 26th May,1453 was certainly a real-life GREEK OLYMPIC GAME for these GOLD-MEDAL champions (The sun symbolized a GOLD MEDAL -- 1 Cor. 3:12; blue radius lines or the light blue sky pictured a BLUE RIBBON -- Nu. 15:38) RUNNING for their lives, as they must have been, behind enemy lines (1 Cor. 9:24; Gal. 2:2; 5:7; Philip. 2:16; 3:14; Heb. 12:1) carrying precious Greek manuscripts. After escaping, they probably lit signal fires to let the citizens of Constantinople know they had escaped successfully. (See Lesson 60 for more detailed commentary). The Turks were darkening the sun (Christ, "the sun of righteousness" -- Mal. 4:2 -- is "persona non grata") creating the "Dark Ages" but the Scriptures were lighting up a dark world like a TORCH. Scriptures enlightened Christians, who read them, like a HALO illuminates Orion's face (The star chart predicted May 26 precisely to the very day). The pillars of fire (feet) and the cloud were leading Israelites (sun, moon and wandering stars [Gen. 37:9-10] toward Britain -- westward from Constantinople (which fell to Moslem Turks on May 29th) toward the Promised Land (Britain -- 2 Sam. 7:10). In one hand, Orion holds a Greek "open scroll" (10:2) or open book high to preserve it from the flood. Notice the sun's orb directly on the scroll makes it a TORCH. When the Bible is openly read, it becomes a TORCH. "Thy word is a LAMP unto my feet and a LIGHT unto my path" (Ps. 119:105; Greek OLYMPIC TORCH). This began both the Renaissance and Protestant Reformation. A closed book is not understood (Isa. 29:11-12; Dan. 12:4). Papal Rome achieved this by keeping the Bible in Latin which few could read and hidden away in monasteries where few visited. Permission was required to even read it. But Catholic armies were too busy fighting the Turks to persecute Protestants; and Greek scholars fled west with their manuscripts and knowledge which they taught. Orion's eastern foot was flooded by the expanding Euphrates (Turks). They escaped to the foot on dry land in the western Roman Empire (see Daniel 2:33,41), thus preserving the Greek manuscripts and opening them up to people's understanding (10:2) just when Gutenberg invented movable type and printed the first Bible on vellum (animal hyde) in 1455. The scholars kept quiet, only spreading their manuscripts among other learned men in the colleges and universities and this began the Renaissance or Rebirth of Learning. The result was a revival in the study of the classical languages, Greek being taught in Europe for the first time in 1458 A.D. By 1483, in only 30 degrees of time (30 years -- the width of each constellation), Caxton published the earliest verses of the Bible to be printed in English.

"The SUN ...is like a BRIDEGROOM coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth like a strong man to RUN a RACE" (Ps. 19:4-5) (from Constantinople to Cambridge in western Europe). He is clothed with a CLOUD because Christ "cometh with CLOUDS" (Rev. 1:7) and "maketh the CLOUDS his CHARIOT" (Ps. 104:3). What are CLOUDS? "Thou shall be like a CLOUD to cover the land, thou, and all thy HORDES, and MANY PEOPLE with thee" "a GREAT COMPANY, and a MIGHTY ARMY" (Ez. 38:9,15; Jer. 4:13). "A CLOUD of witnesses" (Heb. 12:1) ran from Constantinople to western Europe concealed by a CLOUD of fog. The dispersion of Greek-speaking intellectuals ("a [Milky Way] cloud of witnesses ... (who) RUN with patience the RACE" -- Heb. 12:1) and texts into a Europe which for centuries had access to none (black zodiac), sparked the Renaissance and Protestant Reformation.

The Marseillaise Hymn will be America's hymn: "Ye sons of Freedom wake to GLORY (in a resurrection)! Hark! Hark! what myriads bid you RISE (in a resurrection)! Your children, wives and grandsires hoary, Behold their tears and hear their cries (religious persecution)! Shall hateful tyrants (Pope, Sultan, Emperor -- "unclean and hateful birds") mischief breeding With hireling hosts a ruffian band, Affright and desolate the land, When peace and liberty lie bleeding? With luxury and pride surrounded, The vile insatiate despots dare, Their thirst for gold and power unbounded, To mete and vend (measure out and sell -- MARK of the BEAST) the light and air. Like BEASTS of burden would they load us (with guilt trips), Like gods would bid their slaves adore; But man is man and who is more? Then shall they longer LASH and goad us? To ENFRANCHISE is to exchange rights for privileges by contract. Americans have unknowingly exchanged their Common Law Rights for ENFRANCHISED Admiralty Law privileges by signing fraudulent contracts (Welfare, Food Stamps, Driver's License, Social Security Number, Marriage License, Business License, Birth Certificate, Unemployment Compensation) just as the students (and perhaps even faculty -- non-disclosure agreements) at AC were "cunningly coerced" into signing contracts with HWA. Americans have RAISED THEIR HANDS and SWORN allegiance to Admiralty Law Privileges rather than to God, and stripped themselves NAKED (Rev. 3:17) (see above) rather than putting "on righteousness" to clothe themselves (Job 29:14). Americans don't realize that they are "wretched, and miserable, and poor (no allodial title, MCO, gold or silver), and blind (to their enfranchized slave status), and naked" (Rev. 3:17). This explains the rooster-cock symbol which is defined as "before the cock crow twice, thou shalt DENY ME thrice" (Mark 14:30). Don't take any OATH or RAISE YOUR HAND (James 5:12; Matt. 5:33-37; Num. 5:19). Sign your name "without prejudice". About 51% of Americans have some kind of benefit or government check coming to them. This gives the police and courts the "RIGHT" to then harrass, delay, fine and arrest Americans because the police now have our LICENSE to DISOBEY (violate) our Constitutional rights (lasciviousness) (Eph. 4:19). "And ye shall cry out in that day because of your king whom ye shall have chosen (voting is idolatry); and the Lord will not hear you in that day" (1 Sam. 8:18). Uncle Sam has been rejected by Americans and made "persona non grata" (1 Sam. 8:7). Using "separation of church and state" as an excuse, the Bible has been removed from our schools and government. Manasseh ("Forget") has forgotten God. Just as there was an exodus of freemen (Bible followers) from the WCG, so also there is an expatriation movement from the USA of freemen.

As Ambassador College became aware of the movie called "Chariots of Fire," nobody wanted to reveal it to the key players fulfilling the roles on the campus lest that spoil the parallels between real life and the movie script. Students and teachers alike wanted the unplanned miracles to continue. Therefore the depression continued and the prayers for vindication continued long after most people on the campus had seen the movie and the day-to-day "coincidences" occurring. This was therefore the "BLINDNESS" that afflicted "Samson." Another fulfillment came when Dale Barta, who was a BLIND student, sang "I'm Dreaming of A White Throne Judgment" (a parody on Bing Crosby's hit song) to an orchestra accompanyment in the Ambassador Auditorium. He also sang "Philistines in the Night" (a parody on Frank Sinatra's hit song) which also had promise. Another fulfillment came when Garth Warthrop, another BLIND student, walked into the Hall of Administration and boldly asked the question to the teachers, "Which chapter and verse in the Bible tells us to follow the Postponement Rules (of the Jewish Calendar)?" Nobody laughed, but the point was made that a man-made calculated calendar is inferior to God's observed calendar. Another "BLINDNESS" results when a person sees that his critics are guilty of the very sins they accuse him of. Such hypocrisy tends to make the listener deaf and blind to such criticism. As Isaiah 42:19 says, "Who is BLIND, but my servant? or DEAF, as my messenger that I sent?" Craig gave two lectures, about three months apart, in 1982. He explained the Book of Revelation using the British-Israel, historicist interpretation, with star charts, and the movie Chariots of Fire mixed in. A small $4.00 admission price was charged each time. But Harold wasn't invited either time. He stood "at the door" (Rev. 3:20) for awhile as the second lecture began, but was told he was not invited and needed four dollars to attend. Then the sound was turned off to the lobby. He went back to the dorm and thus was kept BLIND lest he understand what was happening. He was in the "DARK". Nor was he given a copy of Craig's apocalyptic star charts because he refused to agree to the "PAYMENT IN FULL" stipulation. The price was too high. Instead, he decided to develop them from scratch with God's help. In 1982, Craig and Harold decided to compete and agreed that the resurrection would constitute the finish line. Furthermore, a stack of photocopied PT and GN articles was offered as "PAYMENT IN FULL" but was refused for the same reason.

The Gilbert and Sullivan Operettas can be compared to the SCRIPTURES (Ez. 33:32). The Savoy Theater reminds us of Waldensians living in the Duchy of Savoy. Gilbert (God the Father) writes the lyrics and Sullivan (Jesus the Messiah) composes the music. They mention familiar names at A.C. Many verses of these operettas are biblical in nature or prophetic or are used as if they were Scripture in the movie: Demons called toads (p.80). Grin and bear it (p.33). Ralph Rakestraw (p.103). Never say Damn (p.106). Things are seldom what they seem, Skim milk masquerades as cream. Black sheep dwell in every fold, All that glitters isn't gold. Spare the rod spoil the child (p.122-3). But in spite of all temptations To belong to other nations, He remains an Englishman (p.131; Amos 3:1-2; Ps. 147:19-20; Rom. 3:1-2; Deut. 15:6, 28:13). Strong his arm ... alone he is fit to fly (p.141). Always act in accordance with the dictates of your conscience and chance the consequences (p.143). Make hay while the sun shines. Where there's a will, there's a way (pp.153; 280-281). Apostle (p.200). Good as gold, did as she was told (p.216). Retribution, like a poised hawk, came swooping down upon the wrongdoer (p.216). Love renders good for ill, smiles at every frown (p.220). The law is the true embodiment of everything that's excellent (p.245). Nothing venture, nothing gain. Blood is thick, water thin. Hustle your horse and don't say die. Faint heart never won fair lady (p.280-281). Adderlike in his tongue (p.292). False and foolish prophets you (p.294). Heralds (p.295). If you think we are worked by strings, Like a Japanese marionette, You don't understand these things: It is simply Court etiquette (p.345). I can trace my ancestry back to a pre-Adamic protoplasmic primordial atomic globule (Evolution) (p.349). Marriage to last a week (p.354). To kiss in public is wrong (p.356). Youth must have its fling (p.359). Suicide is wrong (p.363). I mean to rule the earth (p.373). We'll call each second a minute -- each minute an hour -- each hour a day -- and each day a year (p.375). Make punishment fit crime (p.382). It wasn't written on his forehead (p.388). One tenth of takings (p.573). Love is blind (p.601). Trump of war (p.616). Strike while the iron's hot (p.635). Take this, take that, Tit for tat (p.680-681). Charioteers (p.698, 709). Etcetera. Richard Paige recognized his role in the movie and sat down on steps with another student overlooking the campus, and said, "Gilbert and Sullivan will win."

Who was Eric Liddell? He was Scotch and head of what he claimed was God's Philadelphia Church Era. But really it was his Phi-LIDDELL-phia Church (Laodicean). He was a "star (Israelite leader -- Dan. 8:10; 12:3) attraction" and "missionary" (apostle). H.W.A. was told that the name "Armstrong" is related to royalty. He visited the Scottish Loch Lomond S.E.P. (Summer Education Program) in 1983 and was the star attraction and of course also a missionary. Sandy McWrath was Raymond F. McNair who looked after Herbert Armstrong. Both were Scots. H.W.A. "often said that giving beats receiving" (his "Give vs. Get" sermon) and regularly spent "a fortune in postage stamps" sending out the Worldwide News, Good News and Plain Truth (Ps. 45:1). "Mrs. L" is his mother (Mrs. El -- the bride of El) and "Compromise is the language of the Devil." "The Flying Scot" is H.W.A. who flew around the world in his Grummand Gulfstream 2. H.W.A. was four times as old as the typical A.C. student (86 vs. 21), hence he ran the 440 yard race while Abrahams ran the 100 meters. "Not the prettiest quarter (90°) I've ever seen. Certainly the bravest." (90 x 4 = 360) He tried to rule everyone as a personal DICTATOR (brave) but not very biblical (pretty). Herbert Armstrong returned to Pasadena from Tucson permanently on April 30, 1981 and this is when students were forced to "race against him." When he saw the movie Chariots of Fire, he concluded that it was a vision and Eric Liddell was good and Harold Abrahams was bad. So he began to persecute Harold by wrongly defining the movie's symbolism. Harold then "lost, lost, lost" because he had no way to verbally respond. Herbert Armstrong misquoted scripture and was portrayed as a Sunday-keeper and mainline Protestant. He said "I'm Roman" (false) because of many false teachings. Herbert Armstrong thought so highly of the movie Chariots of Fire, that he later published an article on Eric Liddell called "In Pursuit of Spiritual Excellence" (Good News, Dec. 1984, pp.14-17). Eric Liddell ran in the "hills of the Scottish Highlands" and since "hills" are small nations (Isa. 2:1-3 & Micah 4:1-3), this paraallels HWA visiting Thailand, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Malaysia according to the 1984 Worldwide News, as well as the Philippines and other nations (Isa. 45:1; Ps. 45:1). The phrase "in a MILLION years" is understood as referring to the MILLENIUM. Eric Liddell was "given a lesson in blind obedience, poor fellow." "There goes Daniel into the lion's den." Robert Kuhn and Stan Rader were Mason Illuminati agent infiltrators. Kuhn tried to subtly corrupt the doctrines of the WCG with the Systemic Theology Project and Rader stole millions from the church. When Garner Ted fired Rader, Rader exposed Garner Ted's sexual misconduct. HWA was then forced to fire Garner Ted in 1978 because of the scandal. HWA quickly ended the STP project.

Rader told HWA that he (HWA) could gain worldwide fame and meet with world leaders by simply posing as a cultural philanthropist. He went along with it (Jer. 45:1-5). Rader first made him a member of the Masonic Lodge. Then he got financing from the Bank of America through Masonic connections for the construction of the Ambassador Auditorium and the establishment of Ambassador International Cultural Foundation. For being admitted to the Masonic Lodge and obtaining the BOA loan, Herbert had to agree to stop criticizing the Catholic Church, and to stop preaching the truth, and instead go to a business model outreach. The British Olympic Association is B.O.A. and tried to cause Eric to "deny his beliefs." HWA's travels to meet world leaders caused him to relax his SABBATH-keeping standards. That is why Eric Liddell is portrayed as a strict SUNDAY-keeper. Eric was not "willing to compromise" -- SUNDAY. "After 300 meters, rigor mortis sets in" which is muscular stiffness following death. Everyone kept saying H.W.A. would die, but he kept living till 86. The number 451 may refer to 1 Kings 18:19 where the prophets of Baal numbered 450 to Elijah's one. H.W.A. has likened himself to Elijah and received "Elijah's Cup" from Golda Meir. He did visit many world leaders (cp. Job 34:19), gaining access through Rader’s Masonic contacts and by making big gifts; usually to the leader’s favorite charities like Opera Companies and then giving an expensive gift in exchange for a few minutes photo op. The value of these visits is debated. But Rader raked in large profits. For example after giving $30,000 to Maggie Thatcher’s favorite opera, HWA was allowed a five minute photo op with her. When asked by the press what they had talked about, she replied the opera. In Sri Lanka Herbert gave over a hundred thousand dollars of God’s money to help build a Buddhist monastery to please his Mason friends. That was certainly not preaching the gospel. After a two year pre marital sexual relationship [admitted by HWA during their divorce proceedings], HWA, then in his 80′s, married Ramona Martin, then 38, a long-time member, divorcee and Rader’s secretary who had a 15-year old son from a previous marriage in 1977. She refused to marry him unless he allowed women to use make up, and she required him to move to Tucson, Arizona. HWA then reversed his doctrine prohibiting makeup and agreed to move. He did not understand that this was a carefully laid plot by Stan Rader. Arizona had the most liberal laws in the US regarding the declaration of persons as senile or incompetent; later the Dean brothers gave HWA taped conversations between Ramona and Rader conspiring to have him committed. When HWA learned that Ramona was planning to have him declared incompetent and placed in a Nursing Home, in collusion with Stan, he immediately fled back to Pasadena and declared make-up a sin again, suing her for divorce in 1982. Stan Rader had also tried to blackmail HWA by giving Tkach evidence of wrong-doing. Then Tkach double-crossed Rader and made HWA aware he now had this evidence. Rader was fired in 1982. But before he was exposed, Stan Rader urged HWA to fight the state, and got permission. The Receivership (1979) was an attempt to expose Stan Rader's theft of millions from the WCG. But unfortunately the Receivership was thwarted. C. Wayne Cole was fired (1979) for cooperating with the Attorney General as HWA had originally instructed him. It is debatable what the phrase "best man" means, since it can be taken two different ways. The one who doesn't get married is the "best man". Or does it mean fastest runner? The "best man" is the runner up at a wedding. The bridegroom and the bride get married. All others are mere spectators. In addition, there have been other fulfillments of Eric Liddel among the students at A.C. When H.W. Armstrong died, Tkach took over and made it mainstream Protestant. Armstrong's "Mystery of the Ages" book was taken out of print, and his "United States and British Commonwealth in Prophecy" booklet was killed. Then after he (Tkach) died, his son made further doctrinal changes. Therefore it became the job of students to SEPARATE from that college and PRESERVE the true doctrines before the apostasy took place.

Why was Herbert Armstrong portrayed as a Sunday-keeping Protestant who "did everything wrong" (or a "wizard" in the other analogy) when he had been a Sabbath-keeper and feast-keeper for most of his life -- and taught the laws of the Bible? Because he fell short in so many areas. Many of the following points illustrate his failure to follow the CORE teaching of Christianity -- "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

1. For instance, he turned a blind eye to Garner Ted Armstrong's ADULTERY with over 200 female A.C. students, prostitutes, babysitters, etc. (Gen. 45:1). He himself committed INCEST with his daughter Dorothy for ten years, apparently "unable to control himself" (cp. Gen. 45:1). Yet elders must be "blameless" (Titus 1:6).
2. He taught centralized church government where tithes were all paid to him and then he paid an exalted caste of ministers making them loyal and obedient to him alone and above the people (enfranchised slaves). They came between the people and their Bibles. "Believe the Bible as we explain it -- not as you understand it" -- "thinking to change times and laws" (Dan. 7:25). These Nicolaitans taught, "God backs him up even if he's wrong". This was pervasive, blatant IDOLATRY ("hero-worship", p.87; "The Kingdom of God is not a democracy...one (Divine, not human) voice ... one absolute (Divine, not human) ruler ... one benevolent (Divine, not human) despot, demanding to be obeyed", p.47 Chariots of Fire). This made a ship-wreck of members' spiritual lives. Each Christian became a "shell of a man" by obeying humans. HWA created an arrogant, sadistic, persecuting ministry (cp. Ez. 45:1). Nit-picking micro-management. Whatever a human binds on earth shall be ("what is already" -- Amp.) bound in heaven (Matt. 18:18). Otherwise its BLASPHEMY. As Proverbs 25:26 says, "Like a muddied spring or a polluted fountain is a righteous man who gives way before the wicked (ministry)." Remarkably, 451 Ecumenical Council members voted in favor of Papal Infallibility 16 July, 1870. Could this be the meaning of Liddell's number 451? "Seekest thou great things for thyself? Seek them not" (Jer. 45:1-5). In the Milgram experiment conducted years ago, students (paid $4.50 each) were requested to deliver powerful electric shocks to others, obeying a man in a white coat. The shocks were fake, but students did not know about it. They kept on obeying the man in white coat, giving shocks above 450 V—lethal dose. More than 65% of participants would have killed their classmates if the shocks were real. It's called the Lucifer Effect -- the influence of groups on behavior.
3. Marriage, Divorce & Remarriage only allowed for pre-marital fraud for 40 years. But the Bible says apostasy, adultery, sodomy, desertion and incest are also reasons. God divorced Israel for harlotry. Thus many happily re-married Christians were labeled "living in adultery" and families broken up till 1976. HWA also taught standard marriage ceremony -- not ancient Jewish marriage customs of Bible. He banned the book by Guy Duty called Divorce and Remarriage which gave the truth of Scripture. Remarkably, Ray Bradbury's Farenheit 451 (temperature at which paper catches fire) was a story about firemen who burn books to eliminate the threat of critical thinking by the general public.
4. The calculated Jewish "Hebrew Calendar" with its postponement rules and invisible molad was often a day or two off or even a month off. The Bible teaches a visual calendar (Gen. 1:14). This caused SABBATH-BREAKING of annual Sabbaths (e.g. Passover being sometimes kept in winter rather than spring, thus throwing off all the other holy days) (Pr. 4:19).
5. He rejected the rapture as false. Thus he denied pre-trib rising "in the clouds" and then Christ returning "with ... his saints" (Jude 14; Rev. 19; 1 Th. 4:17) for those (trib) that "wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding" (Luke 12:36).
6. Most of his prophecies failed. He emphasized futurism rather than historicism. Star charts are absent from his publications. He tried to refute visions rather than accept them. He was a FALSE PROPHET. Deuteronomy 18:22 says, "When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him." "We see not our (zodiac) signs; there is no more any prophet, neither is there among us any that knoweth how long" (Ps. 74:9) (Pr. 4:19).
7. Almost nobody wore prayer shawls, phylacteries or put mezuzah on doorposts yet the Bible teaches all these practices (Pr. 4:19).
8. Students were required to listen to ministers constantly BEARING FALSE WITNESS against them with no recourse, fairness, hearing, etc. Ministers laid guilt trips on the innocent. Matthew 18:16-18 is not just for ministers to obey, but also for any Christian to follow. But the ministry never followed that procedure themselves and tried to prevent students from using it. They said it was exclusively for the apostle. But read Proverbs 26:5. Leviticus 19:17, Isaiah 58:1 and Ezekiel 33 to get a true perspective (Pr. 4:19).
9. Passover festival was a superficial somber communion -- not a joyful hagadah with bitter herbs, parsely, lamb, matzos, four cups wine, & charoset. (no dancing vs. jig dancing)
10. The Feast of Unleavened Bread was celebrated using leavened moist "brownies" -- not matzo crackers with newspaper underneath to catch crumbs. (no dancing vs. jig dancing)
11. Pentecost was on a Monday for 40 years -- not the biblical Sunday (superficial vs. bring firstfruits in basket and recite Deut. 26) (no dancing vs jig dancing). This was SABBATH-BREAKING (Pr. 4:19).
12. The shofar was not blown 100 times on Feast of Trumpets (no dancing vs. jig dancing).
13. There was no sukkah dwelling and no four species waved on the Feast of Tabernacles. Instead, a motel & feast gifts. (no dancing vs jig dancing).
14. The purity laws including NIDDAH and COMPOST TOILETS were ignored -- yet the Bible teaches them along with using a MIKVEH. Also Christ was supposedly "CIRCUMCISED FOR" Gentiles so that all they need now is to be "circumcised in the heart" -- not flesh (Plain Truth, Aug. 1953, p.13). But Paul said no UNCLEAN person will enter the kingdom (Eph. 5:5).
15. Instead of addressing a minister by his first name, HWA taught members to use the title "MISTER" to show "proper respect for ministers" when the Bible forbids calling a man "MASTER" (Matt. 23:8-10). This is IDOLATRY.
16. A dress code allowing mixed "dress suit" fabrics rather than 100% cotton or 100% wool.
17. HWA offered big bonuses to all workers willing to WORK ON THE SABBATH to complete Ambassador Auditorium. Entire dorms of students WORKED in the cafeteria ON SABBATH -- "justified" by the fact that Levites worked on Sabbath. Yet they could have just as easily prepared on Friday.
18. They allowed selling PORK HOT DOGS at Rose Bowl to "strangers" rather than "do unto others as you would have them do to you". Even serving hot dogs and hamburger in the A.C. cafeteria
19. Students had their rights taken away at A.C. -- STOLEN (non-disclosure agreements; renegotiating contracts; bait-and-switch; seducing; enslavement). Denying tithe-paying, tuition-paying, students access to classes, Bible studies, etc. out of spite and without due process. Renegotiating contracts; giving with strings always attached. Cancelling classes. "Leading a student to water but not letting his drink." All different aspects of STEALING. Students don't have a right to rebuke others. That is only for ministers (Levites).
20. Not being a good steward of tithe money. STEALING. Financial contributions to world leaders' favorite charities like opera companies; then giving them expensive gifts in exchange for a few minutes' photo op (Don't "seek great things for thyself" -- Jer. 45:1-5). HWA even helped build a Buddhist monastery in Sri Lanka with $100,000. Stan Rader STOLE millions from from WCG. Members "shall be ashamed because of their sacrifices" (Hos. 4:19).
21. HWA taught male-female ballroom dancing at A.C. (dancing is hugging set to music) rather than women with women or men with men. This is WORLDLINESS.
22. Ordaining men to the ministry who were unworthy and allowing them to remain when they were disqualified (e.g. GTA) -- versus godly men fulfilling the requirements of Titus and Timothy. HWA's inner circle was largely unconverted "conscience-seared" men.
23. Any kind of facial hair HWA frowned upon -- yet the Bible teaches "don't mar (even) the corners" of your beard (Lev. 19:27). Rod Meredith called "wearing long, black beards" a "wild idea" (Mar, 1964, GN, p.6).
24. HWA encouraged PLANTING ON SABBATH YEAR LAND REST--"The diligent farmer ... should see that his soil grows the biggest quantity ... plant matter it can produce" on the Sabbath Year (A Sabbath Rest for the Land, Good News April 1969). Perhaps he is right, if only cash crops are prohibited, which would exempt clover that enriches the soil. Just be aware that the Bible says, Don't "sow", "prune" "reap" or "gather" (Lev. 25:4-5) (cash crops?).
25. Preparations such as gold, silver and food storage were minimized (cp. Caulkins J., When Money Fails, Good News, Oct-Nov 1979), yet the Bible says "Buy of me gold tried in the fire" (Rev. 3:18) and "The ants are a people not strong, Yet they prepare their food in the summer" (Pr. 30:25).
26. HWA taught that God forbade polygamy (Oct. 1963 Plain Truth, "Here's the Plain Truth About OLD TESTAMENT POLYGAMY") yet God gave David Saul's wives (2 Sam. 12:8) and the Bible nowhere condemns polygamy (Genesis 4:19; 16:1-4; 29:18-29; Ex. 21:10; Deut. 21:15, Isa. 4:1, etc.). "If he take him another wife" or "If a man have two wives" may be the result of a diminished male population due to warfare. God himself was married to more than one wife (Jer. 3:6-14; Ez. 23:4; Matt. 25) although polygamy is not necessarily the ideal (Deut. 17:14; 1 Tim. 3:2,12; Titus 1:6). When a man gets a marriage license in America, he is voluntarily entering into a contract to only take one wife. Only then does polygamy become illegal.
27. Mount Sinai was in Saudi Arabia not the Sinai Peninsula
28. He taught that dinosaurs existed before Adam but not after.
29. Shem was Melchizedek (BT Nedarim 32b; Genesis Rabbah 46:7; 56:10; Leviticus Rabbah 25:6; Numbers Rabbah 4:8) who typically portrayed Christ (Heb. 7) -- not literally Christ as HWA maintained.
30.) The original 360-day year and 30-day month (Gen. 7:11,24 and 8:3-4) were ridiculed as a "one-way ticket to the world of Fundamentalist Fantasy" (p.3, Kenneth Hermann's Historical Record of a 360-Day Tropical Year). But Hezekiah's sundial moved 10 degrees backward in 701 BC. Therefore a 360-degree sundial divided by 12 hours sunlight equals 30 degrees per hour. Therefore 10 degrees equals 20 minutes. The moon would automatically fall into a 30 day month if the earth were speeded up by 20.67 minutes per day.
31. Military Service and Warfare were discouraged as they should have been concerning a secular government. But nothing was mentioned regarding legitimate self-defense and family defense. Abraham (Gen. 14:14), Moses (Ex. 17), Joshua (Jos. 6), Samson (Judges 15:16), and David (1 Sam. 17) were all "examples written for our admonition" (1 Cor. 10:11) of legitimate fighting.
32. The book of Job illustrates that God sometimes permits the best men to be afflicted by Satan to test their patience, faith, humility and righteousness. Wicked are often prosperous. Justice is often denied in this world. But good will be rewarded and wickedness punished in the judgment day. Job was not proud, and somehow deserving of punishment, as some WCG ministers said. Job's three friends were condemned by God for this kind of reasoning (42:7), but not Elihu, who recognized that the righteous often suffer while the wicked prosper.
33. HWA taught that students should be happy and that it is wrong to be sad. All while harrassing those same students. Yet the Bible mentions "godly sorrow" and Christ was "a man of sorrows" and Elijah was sad and "Blessed are they who mourn" and "the wise are in the house of mourning but fools in the house of mirth" and "Woe unto you who laugh now."
34. Ambassador College forbade tape recording of lectures and sermons. Few printed handouts were given to accompany lectures. As Rod Meredith explained, "We don't want to put ourselves out of business" by teaching students everything we know. Students might start a college of their own or publish what we teach. Then nobody would come to Ambassador College anymore. Oral lectures only were therefore the policy. Lectures are not retained in the listener's memory for very long. The net effect is teachers that don't teach. Students that aren't allowed to learn.

This is what is meant by a "WILD, NATURAL style" of running (Gen. 45:1). HWA thinking he had the right to do and say whatever he wanted at A.C., regardless of who it hurt, whether it was biblical or not, or whose rights were affected. An attitude of "His boundless mercy will provide." "In the early 1950s, Herbert Armstrong did a dramatic, almost unbelievable, about-face in his belief and understanding of church government. He established an authoritarian, one-man ruling, central church government, that received tithes centrally, paid ministers' salaries from a central headquarters, enforced strict doctrinal conformity, fired ministers at will, disfellowshipped members for daring to question the rule of church leaders, refused to work with others, and claimed to be the only organization through whom God was working. Through a gradual process, the church took on a totally different personality. Before his death in 1986, Armstrong claimed that the "Primacy of Peter" doctrine was valid after all, and that he, as The Apostle, had absolute rule in the Church. The "Babylon" of what his organization became, was far more devastating than the Salem and Stanberry organizations of the Church of God, Seventh Day." (Herbert W. Armstrong & Church Government Study No. 141, by Richard Nickels). "THIRTY BLOODY YEARS" (p. 158, Chariots of Fire) (c.1952 till 1982). He became a false apostle (Rev. 2:2; 2 Cor. 11). HWA fell short in many areas of doctrine and practice while he was alive. All this went on UNDER THE NOSES of many professing Christians and ordained ministers. It will make a difference in the Judgment Day. Also "God, who ... calleth those things which be not (yet fully developed) as though they were" (Rom. 4:17), brought to pass what would happen in the future. It would make the WCG look Protestant by comparison. HWA asked a student, "Why won't you obey me?" The student replied, "I'm a Christian. I obey the Bible." Then HWA asked, "What do you think I am?" The student replied, "Well, if you are truly a Christian, you will respect my right to use my mind to obey my Bible. If you are not a Christian, then you won't respect my right to obey my Bible." To this HWA responded, "I will respect your right, but you will not get a job in this church."

Who was Lord Andrew Lindsay? He had multiple fulfillments. One student was a look-alike named Scott Lord. Another student, David Strong, was from England and actually went into the offices of two very critical ministers and defended his mother from their verbal harassment. He wore tennis shoes just in case he needed to make a fast getaway. Notice Perseus dressed in (Milky Way) white with wings on his heels leaping over four blue hurdles with (lunar or solar) champagne glasses on each hurdle. Etcetera.

Who was Sibyl? The Babylonians worshipped the god Sibi as the "collective personification of the seven evil spirits" and the word sibi means seven (Mythology of All Races, Langdon, p.147). The god Sibi seems to have survived in India to this day as Siva, who is also worshipped as a seven-headed serpent (The letters "b" and "v" alternate in many languages). It is interesting that the priestess who claimed to listen to and speak for the serpent was called a sibyl and the books of these priestesses were Sibylline books. The serpent's voice is a hiss, and the hissing letters of our alphabet are called sibilants. The Latin word sibilo means to hiss and is at times directly connected with the voice of the serpent (see this word in Harper's Latine Dictionary). In Apte's Sanscrit dictionary we find Siva defined as "serpent" and "the number seven." Our own word "seven" seems to be related to this Sibi-Siva root as is also the root sep meaning "seven" in such words as septet. In Egypt the word Sep is defined as "serpent," "chief of seven," the word "Seba" is "serpent of evil" and Sepa is "serpent." (An Egyptian Hieroglyphic Dictionary, Budge) and "a mythological serpent fiend." On the other hand, the name "Sibyl" in Hebrew means "an ear of corn" (grain) pointing to Virgo the Virgin. In this constellation we find the stars Subilon (a spike of wheat) and Subilah (who carries). The plural is "Shibboleth." Cicero's opinion of the Sibylline books was "that they were rather calculated to extinguish than to propagate superstition." Consequently their subject was not the idolatrous religion of Rome. Cicero also informs us that they predicted a king who was to arise about that time, whose sovereignty was to be universal, and under whose rule the world should be at peace. The Sibyl seems next to say, "The virgin comes who shall bear the promised progeny of heaven, who shall revive the worship of that Deity, long hid beneath the idolatries of the iron age, whose early reign, whose age of gold, he shall restore." (Virgil thought Peace treaty of Brundisium in 40 BC under the consulate of Pollio was the commencement). Therefore, when the CHURCH (Sibyl) is righteous, she is VIRGO, or a seven-branched MENORAH. Therefore, when the CHURCH (Sibyl) is righteous, she is VIRGO, or a seven-branched MENORAH. When the CHURCH (Sibyl) sins, she is a seven-headed SNAKE. "He says he means to clear his mind of me" refers to those who left AC and the WCG because of its VENOM. "Let's not quibble Sibyl!" Other fulfillments may involve actual WOMEN who tried to use their "CHARMS" to lure men into ENSLAVEMENT. A Bible follower must leave the WCG (Sibyl) and must also leave America (Sibyl) in order to be free to obey the Bible. Her kid brother "Tim" or "Timmy" stands for "TAMMUZ". Manetho wrote, "There was a king of ours whose name was Timaus (Tammuz -- Cumberland's Sanchoniathon, p. 359-360). Under him it came to pass, I know not how, that God was averse to us" (from Josephus, Contr. Apion 1:14-15) 

"One little maid ("little flock") is a bride Yum-Yum (She tastes good so is not spit out of Christ's mouth like Laodicea -- Rev. 3:16). Two little maids in attendance come ("five ... wise and five foolish" virgins -- Matt. 25:1-3; Philadelphia & Laodicea -- Rev. 3; Leah & Rachel -- Gen. 29:28; Pre-trib & Trib -- Rev. 3). Three little maids (Three Hesperides -- Ursa Minor; "third part" -- Rev. 12:4; "two parts ... die... third left" -- Zech.13:8) is the total sum.... From three little maids (Yum Yum, Pity-Sing & Peep-Bo) take one away (One third of church is in pre-trib resurrection), Two little maids remain and they, Won't have to wait very long they say" because the second maid is the tribulation Rachel saints and the difference is only three-and-a-half years (Gen. 29:27; Judges 14:2-12; Lev. 23:34) or 2026. Yum-Yum sings the most beautiful song in the entire movie: "The sun whose rays Are all ablaze With ever-living glory, Does not deny His majesty -- He scorns to tell a story! (Psalm 19:1-4) He don't exclaim, 'I blush for shame, So kindly be indulgent.' But, fierce and bold, In fiery gold, He glories all effulgent! I MEAN TO RULE THE EARTH, As he the sky -- We really know our worth, The sun and I! Observe his flame, That placid dame, The moon's Celestial Highness; There's not a trace Upon her face Of diffidence or shyness: She borrows light That, through the night, Mankind may all acclaim her! And, truth to tell, She lights up well, So I, for one, don't blame her! Ah, pray make no mistake, We are not shy; We're very wide AWAKE, The moon and I!" (Yet 2/3 of the church is actually sound ASLEEP in many ways)

Cambridge was Ambassador College -- "the finest university in the land" (Ez. 45:1) because it had a Sabbath-keeping and festival-keeping Bible-based curriculum. But anti-Semitic and amateur. "Caius" is the Roman way of pronouncing "Keys." Far from "recapturing true values," it was in fact a "dark Satanic (diploma & rumor) mill" (Pr. 4:19). Yet Cambridge is the place the Reformation sprang from in Britain. In the same way, Ambassador College may be the place from which another Reformation springs, even though its faculty consisted of "Japanese marionettes" since you never knew who was speaking -- HWA or the person you were talking to. The strings were the paycheck and the blind obedience. Students also were required to use a portable tape recorder and to speak whatever HWA told them to say. It was a "hold of every unclean and hateful bird" (Rev. 18:1). It's "corridors of power were filled with venom and jealousy" producing midgets and dwarfs because the incubator was broken, but that is a different vision (Lesson 42). The "War List" is all those students and ministers who were disfellowshipped or left in disgust. Represented by poppy fields in the other vision. Students were required to take classes they didn't want and then denied the classes they did want and paid for. Then the contract was renegotiated again and again. Constant verbal harrassment. No presumption of innocense. Other kinds of harrassment also, such as the entire dorm required to work on the Sabbath; the entire college required to sell pork hot dogs at Rose Bowl. True Christians can't pass through the doorway to the ministry since the entrance requires blind obedience idolatry. That is prejudice against Jews (Rom. 2:29). In order to remain at A.C., each student was required to criticize any student who wouldn't CONFORM and to have it tape recorded. That is also prejudice against Jews (Rom. 2:29). The ministers at A.C. were DESPICABLE --telling students they had no rights; and that they could be put in prison for criticizing the college or church. They were "backed up" (constipated) rather than being backed up by God.

It was in 1521 that Luther's books appeared in England; and Cambridge students formed a study-group at the WHITE HORSE Tavern. William Tyndale met there with other would-be Reformers (Robert Barnes, Thomas Bilney, Thomas Cranmer, Hugh Latimer, Matthew Parker, Nicholas Ridley, John Frith and Miles Coverdale) exactly three-and-a-half years (11:11) from 1517 (SUN in Gemini) to 1521. It was known as "Little Germany" because it was the centre for discussion about the exciting and dangerous ideas of Martin Luther ("Sola Scriptura" -- Don't obey the "pope"). Students from Ambassador College are also discussing exciting ideas. "And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall PROPHESY, and your young men shall see VISIONS, and your old men shall dream DREAMS" (Acts 2:17; Joel 2:28). The Apocalypse STAR CHARTS predict the secret return of our Lord as well as the public return soon after. He will parallel the role of King Henry VIII in 2026 and his kingdom will extend worldwide for 1000 years thereafter. This time the Reformation and Renaissance will succeed fully.



Sam Mussabini is the unpopular opposite of a "strict amateur code." He's "the BEST" (our Lord Yeshua and God our Father). He's the "BRIDEGROOM" ("Like the bridegroom, it's the coach who should do the asking.") He is "FIRST and LAST " (p.91, Chariots of Fire) in a Christian's life. He's a "LONER" since HOLY means SEPARATE. "Ye shall be holy (separate; loner); for I, the Lord your God, am holy (separate; loner)" (Lev. 19:2) "I have trodden the winepress ALONE; and of the people there was NONE WITH ME ... And I looked, and there was NONE to help; and I wondered that there was NONE to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me" (Isa. 63:3-5). The people shun him as a WOG "FOREIGNER" (Hosea 8:12), not realizing that the true church for centuries has been both ITALIAN (Rom. 1:7; Waldensian, Albigensian) and ARAB (Gal. 1:17; Nazarenes, Ebionites, Donatists). Glen White was a look-alike. Justice Sam Alito (of Italian ancestry) gave Harold immunity in Seattle. Colonel John Keddy had a similar namesake at Pasadena. SAM is "PERSONA NON GRATA." SAM was the last representative judge (Ex. 20:19) of Israel rejected in favor of a human king instead. Uncle Sam has been rejected by Americans. Using "separation of church and state" as an excuse, the Bible has been removed from our schools and government. As 1 Samuel 8:7 says, "the LORD said unto SAMuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not (only) rejected thee, but THEY HAVE (also) REJECTED ME, that I should not reign over them." People say, "We're saved by grace, and don't need to OBEY the Bible" and "The LAW was done away with." Or "Obey them (the clergy) which have the rule over you." But the Bible says, "Be not ye called Rabbi (Master): for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren." "Obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him. But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries." (Ex. 23:21-22).

But the name "SAM" means "ASK" (1 Sam. 1:20). God LISTENS to our prayers. He HEARS our requests when we ASK. The name "MusSABini," in contrast to "MusSOLini," refers to the SABbath rather than SUNday -- SOL's day. In many languages, the word for Saturday sounds similar to the Hebrew "Sabbath." (Arabic Sabet, Greek Savvato, Bulgarian Sabota, Italian Sabato, Russian Subbota and Spanish Sabado) But for those languages that don't, it is remarkable that several have the name "SAM" in them: Romanian "SAMbata", French SAMedi, and German "SAMStag" are examples. We LISTEN to Him on that day. We HEAR what HE ASKS of us on the SABBATH. If we DO what HE ASKS through the pages of the Bible, He will DO what WE ASK through prayer (cp. Zech. 7:13). That is how he COACHES us and TRAINS us. Arabic "Mussab" (ini) means "STRONG" or "CAPABLE" -- strength in I. The "pursuit of EXCELLENCE" is PROFESSIONALISM derived from OBEYING the BIBLE -- a professional coach -- "only Scripture." "His ye are to whom ye OBEY" (Rom. 6:16). God then may "PUNCH his fist right through the (straw) CROWN" (p.157, Chariots of Fire) because a GOLD CROWN replaces it. He did have to wait "THIRTY BLOODY YEARS" (p. 158, Chariots of Fire) (c.1952 till 1982) till some students witnessed without compromising and were "dropped" (finished) from Ambassador College. ("seven times" x 4 = 28 years [Lev. 26:18, 21, 24, 28])

A "strict amateur code" is blind obedience to clergy -- Sunday-keeping, Trinity, Latin -- making a ship-wreck of Christian lives. "There wasn't a BREATH in that land of DEATH" as Christians searched for GOLD (Cremation of Sam McGee). "You have no rights." (HWA was wrong on Pentecost, the calendar, tassels, sukkahs, Passover, divorce, church government, rapture, war, Niddah, prophecy, etc.). This leads to stunted growth. Humans become PUPPETS that are 2/3 size or MUNCHKINS that are half as tall. To "CARE about THINGS that REALLY MATTER" is to care about what the BIBLE teaches, in every area of our lives. By reading the BIBLE, you can read God's mind. Scripture is the DNA code that people can implant inside of themselves to become "like a god" -- "until Christ be formed in you" (Gal. 4:19). "Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee" (Ps. 119:11) because "a promise made is a debt unpaid" (Cremation of Sam McGee) till the day we die. Christians make it a part of their lives, just as Abraham did: "Because that Abraham OBEYED my VOICE, and KEPT my CHARGE, my COMMANDMENTS, my STATUTES, and my LAWS" (Gen. 26:5). That's what it means to be "ABRAHAM'S" seed. People don't realize that WISDOM comes from first OBEYING His COMMANDMENTS. "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of WISDOM. A good understanding have all they that (first) DO HIS COMMANDMENTS" (Ps. 111:10). "I have more UNDERSTANDING than all my teachers ... I UNDERSTAND MORE than the ancients, because I KEEP THY PRECEPTS ... Through thy PRECEPTS I get UNDERSTANDING" (Ps. 119:99-104). "Because thou hast REJECTED KNOWLEDGE, I will also reject thee ... seeing thou hast FORGOTTEN the LAW of thy God, I will also forget thy children" (Hos. 4:6). "The Holy Spirit which God hath given to them that (first) OBEY HIM" (Acts 5:32). "If ye continue in MY WORD, then are ye my disciples IN DEED; and (then) ye shall KNOW THE TRUTH, and the truth shall make you free" (John 8:31-32; 2 Tim. 3:16). "If any man will DO HIS WILL (to the best of his knowledge at the time), HE SHALL KNOW of the the DOCTRINE, whether it be OF GOD" (John 7:17).

H.M. Abrahams seems to be a composite type of Samson, Elijah (2 Ki. 2:11), Abraham (Rom. 4:19) and Christ our Lord. The name "Abrahams" reminds us of the Scripture, "If ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed." (Gal. 3:29). Any person who wishes to become a scholar must shun society and embrace solitude and become a hermit to get acquainted with thoughts and ideas found in books as well as his own mind. HMA had multiple CONTEMPORANEOUS fulfillments. A number of people laid claim to this character, or had a part to play in fulfilling the role. "Let us now praise (not criticize) famous MEN." (Ecclesiasticus 44:1-19) One student named John Sullivan SANG "He is an Englishman" in a Gilbert & Sullivan Operetta held at Ambassador Auditorium. Another student named Doug Ruml RESEMBLED the Ben Cross character. "Hebrew" means "Cross" (over the Euphrates -- Gen. 14:13). A third student, from ENGLAND used historicism and BRITISH ISRAELISM and exclusively British sources to create an Apocalyptic "LEGEND" that defined all the symbols in the Book of Revelation. He called himself "Baruch" and asked one persecuted student to shout Rev. 18:2 and offered to pay for his ticket so he could watch the movie "Chariots of Fire" over summer break. But later forsook it all (Ps. 41:9). A fourth often "RAN" to class to avoid being late, quoted Hamlet Act 1 Scene 3 in English Literature class, used an OLYMPIA typewriter in the dorm and was PERSECUTED (Ps. 34:19) while at the college for having a "DIFFERENT GOD, A DIFFERENT MOUNTAIN TOP" (the Bible). He didn't believe in amateur "blind obedience" idolatry to men, and therefore had to "RUN THEM OFF THEIR FEAT" in order to justify his PROFESSIONALISM. Then he saw the movie and was astonished (Dan. 4:19). A fifth, Moshe Ben Simcha was a "JEW IN BRITAIN" who defined the exotic materials and workmanship of the Auditorium in terms of the human members of the church from around the world. A sixth, George Mueller (1805-1898), was presented in several sermons that were not well received by the audience. He moved to ENGLAND to be a MISSIONARY and CUT HIMSELF OFF from his university's support when he explained to them that he must take his GUIDANCE NOT FROM ANY MAN ("YOUR OWN TECHNIQUE"). "A servant of Christ has just ONE MASTER." He RELIED ON GOD ALONE for help through PRAYER. As the speaker said, "If I can be kicked out of AC for preaching that, then I don't belong here anyway." The listening audience considered his speech heretical, but eventually said, "Let George do it." Seventh, Terrell Perkins distributed his thesis REFUTING Church Government to 30 people in the Hall of Administration and left them without any leg to stand on (They prayed). He resembled Ophiuchus and also forfeited his job opportunity. Eighth, Wade Fransen collected the many GRIEVANCES of the Big Sandy students and REPRESENTED those students and vindicated them against the Dean of Students who listened. Ninth, Greg Gaetzman was a powerful supporter and defender of both VISIONS as well as being humorous throughout. To his own detriment, he DEFENDED a persecuted student on several occasions against teachers. Tenth, Duane Abler attached "95 Theses" to the door of the Hall of Administration. The student body all took part in COMPOSING these. No single person should "have all the fun." Other students also fulfilled this HMA role -- including two BLIND students fulfilling the SAMSON parallel by EXPOSING the hypocrisy. They were eleventh and twelfth.

But the parallels didn't stop with the student body. The faculty and administration had its share of fulfillments also. Herman L. Hoeh had the same tall stature and jaw bone of the actor as well as the scholarly mind necessary in his "pursuit of EXCELLENCE" to be "the BEST." He was a (S)PRINTER of Plain Truth and Good News articles. He used a popular English song "We Don't Need No Thought Control ... Hey Teacher, Leave Those Kids Alone ... All in all, It's just another brick in the wall" as the basis of a sermon. He helped defend the student body in general. On at least five different occasions he intervened against different faculty/staff members (P.A.S.A.G.) on behalf of a persecuted student (Phil. 4:19). Dean Blackwell taught star charts (Deut. 4:19) after a time delay (Gen. 41:9). Dave Myers was first to ask, "Are you being persecuted?" and went out of his way to INFORM students about bait-and switch, the enslavement contract and Wizard of Oz. He defended and helped repeatedly, and was nick-named "GOLDEN BOY." John Halford was an ENGLISHMAN in spite of all temptations, and Kaplan a persecuted JEW who taught the BLUE RIBBON commandment. The church lawyer (Ralph Helge) was "RIGHT TO STUDY LAW" and was "quite an ADVOCATE." He discouraged HWA from suing a student for defending himself. By paralleling HMA, each faculty member RAN HIMSELF OFF the campus (HIS FEAT). They each chose to consume the whole enchillada rather than merely have a slice of pizza.

These were all CONTEMPORANEOUS fulfillments, each being (C)HARMED by the "Satanic" "venom and jealousy" of the college -- a lying charm around each one's neck. This was typified by the lion-and-lamb silver tie tack attached to one student's tie. "But England, Cambridge -- they are your reality. You want to belong to this WORLD (-wide church)... Behind that (C)HARM out there, there's ugliness ... yet I still want to be part of it." (pp. 98-99, Chariots of Fire). "He won't listen to reason". Of course all true Christians want to belong to a WORLD(wide group) that keeps the Sabbath, festivals, clean meats, tithes and believes in BRITISH ISRAELISM. But nobody bargained for, or wants, the ugliness of blind obedience and persecution, and WORLD(liness) which are not as apparent, and which cannot be separated from the good. Along with the paycheck, power and position comes a STRING or LEASH -- blind obedience to men. The average "membership cycle" takes about six years from entrance to exit. BRITISH ISRAELISM draws members in; Church Government WIZARDRY expels them. The number 419 refers to Acts 4:19 where Peter and John said to them, "Judge for yourselves whether it is right in God's sight to OBEY YOU rather than GOD."  We should show "no partiality to princes" and "not favor the rich" (Job 34:19). All of the men who participated deserved to wear that number since all ran that race in one way or another. They turned the "W" (wizardry) upside down to become HMA. The "M" stands for "MARVELOUS" (p. 76, Chariots of Fire) -- as long as we don't forget that we are all mortal men in clay houses (Job 4:19). They did start a RIOT (C HA RIOT). They each were persecuted as a son (ben) of the cross (Lam. 4:19; 1 Pet. 4:19). They were "chosen" servants (Isa. 41:9) and prophets (John 4:19) fighting against an unfeeling, unclean, greedy and lascivious hierarchy (Eph. 4:19). They left Egypt with God's help (Ex. 14:19). They became "fishers of men" by following Christ (Matt. 4:19) and each typified our Lord (Gal. 4:19). But there were not enough of them to change the inevitable outcome. Each was a percentage of the whole HMA pizza as well as being the whole enchilada himself. Only time will tell the SUCCESSIVE fulfillments. Some became unfruitful over time (Mark 4:19) while others still "preach the acceptable year of the Lord" (Luke 4:19) and will enter the Promised Land (Josh. 4:19). "Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all" (Psalm 34:19). Christ said "Ye shall know them by their fruits." "BRITISH" means "Covenant Man" in Hebrew. Covenant-keepers are those who OBEY the Bible. Being JEWISH is teaching and obeying the Bible.

Often the prophecies of the Bible have both a CONTEMPORANEOUS and SUCCESSIVE fulfillment. For instance, the three frogs of Rev. 16:13 are both CONTEMPORANEOUS and SUCCESSIVE, as are the four horns on the shaggy goat in Daniel 8. The abomination that desolates for 1260 days (Daniel 9:27 & 12:7) has had both CONTEMPORANEOUS and SUCCESSIVE fulfillments. The Book of Revelation itself had a CONTEMPORANEOUS fulfillment in the Roman-Jewish War of 67-73 A.D. known as Preterism as well as a SUCCESSIVE fulfillment known as Historicism.

If true Jewish-Christianity can be compared to an OLYMPIC foot race (1 Cor. 9:24; Gal. 2:2; 5:7; Philip 2:16; 3:14; Heb. 12:1,23; 2 Tim. 2:5), then running may represent obedience to the Bible for any true Christian. "Its absolutely fundamental you NEVER LOOK" (p.76, paperback) since "we walk by faith, NOT BY SIGHT" (2 Cor. 5:7). However, only one RUNNER in the movie represented true JEWISH CHRISTIANITY. Therefore, a different definition of running must be applied when ALL the runners in the movie, whether converted or unconverted, compete. In those cases, running may merely refer to one's ability to defend himself in his beliefs. If the unconverted "win", it might merely mean that they "PERSECUTE successfully" (Lam. 4:19) or monopolize the argument. Whatever the case, as a team these British runners PRESERVE truth from destruction by Roman Catholics and Moslems and parallel what happened in 1453 before the fall of Constantinople. They PRESERVE and PRINT the truth and BROADCAST the Moses-Elijah message of "Let my people go" (Ex. 5:1) and "How long will you straddle the fence between the Eternal and Baal?" (cp. 1 Ki. 18:21) to Roman Catholic and Moslem powers to win the GOLD medal (1 Cor. 3:12) and the BLUE RIBBON (Nu. 15:38) for a freedom-loving, Bible-loving Britain. The finish line is entering the Promised Land (Josh. 4:19). We know these RUNNERS are doing the work of Elijah since they are labelled "Chariots of Fire" just as he was (2 Ki. 2:11-12). Therefore they may compose the cavalry that returns with our Lord. "For, behold, the Eternal will come with FIRE, and with his CHARIOTS like the whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of FIRE" (Isa. 66:15). "Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord" (Rom. 12:19). Orion carries the OLYMPIC torch when the sun is directly over head. "Coincidentally," that is also when Auriga (the Charioteer) has the FIERY CHARIOT wheel under him (the sun). Ursa Minor (Little Flock) is alternately "THREE LITTLE MAIDS " from school (the Hesperides). We believe there were many more than 100 parallels between this movie and reality. According to the laws of probability, if each parallel has a one-in-five chance of occurring by accident (a very conservative estimate), then the odds against just TEN parallels happening by chance are 5X5X5X5X5X5X5X5X5X5 = 9,765,625 to 1.

Every chapter in the book of Revelation is based on astronomy. In fact, every chapter in the entire Bible is based on astronomy. This vision is no different. Sam's son. Three little maids. Chariots of Fire. A metronome pendulum swinging. Gold and silver medals. Wings on heels. A torch aflame. A circular track for stars. We therefore find Auriga with the star Capella -- the Charioteer with his CHARIOT superimposed. Anciently, Leo, Ursa Major and Ursa Minor were all given the CHARIOT symbol as well. Astronomically, Perseus has wings on his heels.

"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge (using sign language). They have no (verbal) speech, they use no (vocal) words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice (sign language) goes out into all the earth, their (picto-graphic) words to the ends of the world" (Ps. 19:1-4). We should run from Babylon-America before the torch is aflame (Rev. 18:4) and race to WHITEHORSE Yukon and mount up on this WHITE HORSE to be part of Christ's cavalry. He may even come back secretly for his bride on 4 Jan 2024 -- not Rosh HaShanah -- since it will be "at an hour when ye think not" (Luke 12:40) or "when least expected" (TLB). Most Christians believe it will be at the last trump of Rosh HaShanah.

Jerusalem

And did those feet in ancient time
Walk upon England's mountains green:
And was the holy Lamb of God,
On England's pleasant pastures seen!

("A certain nobleman (Christ) went into a far country [Britain] to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return [to Palestine after 18 years -- age 12 to 30 -- Luke 2:42 & 3:23]. And he called his ten servants [lost ten tribes in Britain, etc.], and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come. But his citizens [the Jews] hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us" [Luke 19:12-14]. "Other sheep I have, which are not of this fold (not in Palestine) [John 10:16]." "I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel" [Matt. 15:24]. The Jews were not lost or hidden; but Israel was hidden, lost sheep.)

And did the Countenance Divine,
Shine forth upon our clouded hills?
And was Jerusalem builded here,
Among these dark Satanic Mills?

("Dark Satanic Mills" are diploma-mill universities and churches where a doctrine of conformity overrules obedience to the Bible. Students are "bated and switched", taught "blind-obedience" idolatry, seduced, falsely accused of many sins, contractually enslaved, forced to take classes they don't want and denied classes they do want, threatened with being disfellowshipped for non-conformity, etc. "Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?" -- Matt. 7:1-3)

Bring me my Bow of burning gold;
Bring me my Arrows of desire:
Bring me my Spear: O clouds unfold!
Bring me my Chariot of fire!

("Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire" -- Ps. 104:4. Any Bible-follower who teaches the truth of the Bible is a Chariot of Fire and type of Elijah-- 2 Kings 2:11 & 6:16–18)

I will not cease from Mental Fight,
Nor shall my Sword sleep in my hand:
Till we have built Jerusalem,
In England's green & pleasant Land

(A Second Coming wherein our Lord establishes a New Jerusalem [Rev.3:12 & 21:2]).
