Thus there are actually two lunar cups, two red radius impregnations, and two lunar pregnancies -- of Castor and Pollux, and two blind man's canes -- one for each dog.

2 And he (red radius) said, Behold now, my (Gemini) lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night.

3 And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and (red radius) entered into his (red radius) house; and he made them a feast, and did bake (solar golden) unleavened bread, and they did eat.

4 But before they lay down, the (Gemini) men of the city, even the (Gemini) men of Sodom, compassed the (red radius) house round, both old and young, all the people (Perseus, Orion, etc.) from every quarter:

5 And they (red radius) called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the (Gemini) men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.

6 And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him,

8 Behold now, I have two (Gemini) daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these (Gemini) men do nothing; for therefore came they under the (black Zodiac) shadow of my roof.

10 But the (Gemini) men put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door.

11 And they (red radius) smote the (Gemini, etc.) men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small (Canis Minor) and great (Canis Major): so that they wearied themselves to find the door.

12 And the men said unto Lot, Hast thou here any besides? son in law, and thy sons, and thy daughters, and whatsoever thou hast in the city, bring them out of this place:

13 For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the Lord; and the Lord hath sent us to destroy it.

14 And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons in law, which married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for the Lord will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law.

15 And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city.

16 And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the Lord being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city.

17 And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.

18 And Lot said unto them, Oh, not so, my Lord:

19 Behold now, thy servant hath found grace in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy mercy, which thou hast shewed unto me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest some evil take me, and I die:

20 Behold now, this city is near to flee unto, and it is a little one: Oh, let me escape thither, (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live.

21 And he said unto him, See, I have accepted thee concerning this thing also, that I will not overthrow this city, for the which thou hast spoken.

22 Haste thee, escape thither; for I cannot do anything till thou be come thither. Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.

23 The sun was risen upon the earth (sun on red radius horizon) when Lot entered into Zoar.

See Genesis 14:2. Zoar is identified by tradition with a spot on the S.E. of the Dead Sea, where a peninsula projects from the coast. Cf. Genesis 13:10; Deuteronomy 34:3; Isaiah 15:5; Jeremiah 48:34. The name in the LXX, Lat. Segor, gave the Dead Sea the name of the Sea of Zugar in the Middle Ages.

24 Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven;

If the cities of the Plain lay in the Dead Sea valley, their overthrow was not occasioned by lava or burning ashes, like Pompeii, or Herculaneum, or St Pierre. It has been contended, and is not beyond the bounds of probability, that an earthquake, causing a sudden subsidence of the crust and accompanied by great fissures in the earth, caused the overthrow of buildings, and released great masses of bitumen, sulphur, &c., which are to be found in large quantities in that locality. The spontaneous combustion of escaping gas, the ignition of great masses of bituminous material, combined with the outflow of steam and hot water, would then have enveloped the whole country in dense smoke, and would have seemed to drop brimstone and fire from the sky. This line of explanation would also assume that the depression of the earth’s surface led to the subsequent submergence of the four ruined cities beneath the waters of the Dead Sea; the lower end of which is exceedingly shallow.

Of this conflagration some Heathen writers speak, as particularly Tacitus (f) who says, some large and famous cities, or, as some copies have it, Jewish ones, not far from Jordan, were struck with thunderbolts, and were fired "igni ceolesti", with fire from heaven, and were consumed; and so Solinus (g) relates, that,"at some distance from Jerusalem, a sorrowful lake appears, which the black ground testifies was stricken by heaven and turned into ashes; where were two towns, the one called Sodomum, the other Gomorrum.'' Strabo (h) makes the lake, which is now the place where they stood, to be owing to earthquakes and eruptions of fire, and of hot bituminous and sulphurous waters; and says nothing of fire from heaven, which yet Tacitus and Solinus do, being unacquainted with the sacred history:
and all the plain; the plain of Jordan, and the cities on it, all but Zoar; not all the five cities, as Josephus (i): Egesippus (k) and other authors mistake, only the four above mentioned. Strabo (l) speaks of thirteen cities being formerly upon this spot, of which Sodom was the metropolis:

''The place where those cities stood is now a lake, and is sometimes called the salt sea, Genesis 14:3; and sometimes the dead sea, because it is said, no creature can live in it; and sometimes called the Lake Asphaltites, from its bituminous and pitchy quality:

25 And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.

26 But his wife looked back from behind him (Orion), and she became a (Milky Way) pillar of salt.

Travellers speak of the remarkable ridge called Jebel Uzdum (“mountain of Sodom”) at the S.W. extremity of the Dead Sea. Its fantastic pillars and ragged fragments attract attention. It consists of rock salt. One of these needles or pinnacles has been called by the people “Lot’s wife.” Such pinnacles would in process of time change their appearance owing to the effects of wind and rain. One known as “Lot’s wife” existed in the days of our Lord. See Wis 10:7; Josephus, Ant. i. ii, 4.

27 And Abraham gat up early in the morning to the place where he stood before the Lord:

28 And he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain, and beheld, and, lo, the smoke of the country went up as the (Milky Way) smoke of a furnace.

29 And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in the which Lot dwelt.

30 And Lot went up out of Zoar, and dwelt in the mountain, and his two (Gemini) daughters with him; for he feared to dwell in Zoar: and he dwelt in a cave, he and his two daughters.

the mountain of Engedi. Josephus (p) makes mention of the mountains of Engedi; and here was a cave, where David with six hundred men were, in the sides of it, when Saul went into it, 1 Samuel 24:1; and perhaps may be the same cave where Lot and his two daughters lived.

31 And the firstborn said unto the younger, Our father is old, and there is not a man in the earth to come in unto us after the manner of all the earth:

32 Come, let us make our father drink wine, and we will lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father.

34 And it came to pass on the morrow, that the firstborn said unto the younger, Behold, I lay yesternight with my father: let us make him drink wine this night also; and go thou in, and lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father.

36 Thus were both the daughters of Lot with child by their father.

A play on the word “Moab,” on account of its general assonance with the Heb. mê-âb = “from a father”

38 And the younger, she also bare a son, and called his name Benammi: the same is the father of the children of Ammon unto this day.

Did Jesus Condemn Homosexuality?

Christ stated, "Bessed are they that hear the word of God and KEEP it" (Luke 11:28). "He that hath my commandments, and and KEEPETH them, he it is that loveth me: And he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him" (John 14:21). "And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the LAW to FAIL " (Luke 16:17). "Think not that I am come TO DESTROY THE LAW, or the prophets; I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill" (Matt.5:17). Christ didn't come to destroy the laws against HOMOSEXUALITY. The MORAL LAW reveals God's UNCHANGING CHARACTER (Mal.3:6; Heb.13:8). Jesus told a young rich man, ". . . but if thou wilt enter into life, KEEP the COMMANDMENTS " (Matthew 19:17). In Matthew 5:20 Christ warned his disciples, "except your RIGHTEOUSNESS shall EXCEED the RIGHTEOUSNESS of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven."

Christ said that man shall live "by EVERY WORD that proceedeth out of the mouth of God" (Matt.4:4) and the OLDER TESTAMENT scriptures were the only written word of God at this time (2 Tim.3:15-16; 1 Cor.10:11). Christ also said, "the scriptures CANNOT be broken" (John 10:35) -- meaning the OLDER TESTAMENT isn't abolished. Later he said "Thy word is TRUTH " (John 17:17). The OLDER TESTAMENT is TRUE! They are part of the moral law that reveals God's character which doesn't change (Mal.3:6; Heb.13:8). Christ fulfilled the moral law BY MAGNIFYING the law and making it honorable (Isa.42:21) by adding the full SPIRIT and INTENT to the mere letter of the law (Matt.5:21-44).

"Jesus Christ the RIGHTEOUS" (1 John 2:1) knew that "all thy commandments are RIGHTEOUSNESS" (Ps.119:172). Jesus Christ "WHO DID NO SIN" (1 Pet.2:22) knew that "SIN is the TRANSGRESSION of the LAW."

The LAW and COMMANDMENTS condemn HOMOSEXUALITY and this perversion is called an abomination (Lev. 18:22; 1 Cor. 6:9-10). "Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven; but whosoever shall DO and TEACH them, the same shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven" (Matt. 5:19).

Even though Jesus did not specifically mention homosexuality, he TAUGHT the Old Testament, including its condemnation of HOMOSEXUALITY and repeated that marriage is between a man and a woman. Jesus also condemned HOMOSEXUALITY by affirming heterosexuality as the norm and the God ordained definition of marriage.

Matthew 10:15 says, "Truly I say to you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah (HOMOSEXUALITY) in the day of judgment than for that city."
Matthew 19:4-6 says, "And He answered and said, 'Have you not read that He who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? “So they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.'”
Matt. 19:9 says, “And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for fornication (HOMOSEXUALITY of Sodom & Gomorrah is identified as "fornication" in Jude 7), and marries another woman commits adultery.”
Mark 10:11-12 says, "And He said to them, 'Whoever divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery against her; and if she herself divorces her husband and marries another man, she is committing adultery.'”
John 5:46-47 says, “For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote of Me. But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?”

We see Jesus' condemnation of Sodom and Gomorrah (Matthew 10:15), and we know that homosexuality was involved in those two cities. We see Jesus confirming the heterosexual marriage pattern by citing where God made Adam and Eve, male and female (Matthew 19:4-6). Jesus mentions divorce in the context of male and female (Matthew 19:9; Mark 10:11-12)--not male and male or female and female. And, Jesus supported the teachings of Moses (John 5:46-47) in which a clear condemnation of homosexuality is taught in such verses as Leviticus 18:22; 20:13.

But Paul plainly condemned homosexuality in 1 Cor. 6:9, and Paul was a follower of Jesus.

Both Jesus and Paul condemned FORNICATION

In an attempt to neutralize the Bible, homosexuals and their supporters claim our Lord Jesus never mentioned or condemned homosexuality. But the New Testament uses the word FORNICATION to identify homosexuality. Once it is understood the New Testament used this word to identify homosexuality, then it is clear that the Lord Jesus condemned it. The Book of Jude ties together homosexuality with the word FORNICATION. The homosexuality of Sodom and Gomorrha was identified as FORNICATION. The Bible warns that the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrha was an example to those who would practice this same FORNICATION.

Jude 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to FORNICATION, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

The Greek word for fornication is ekporneuo, and it means to be utterly UNCHASTE. It is the Greek word from which English derives the word PORNOGRAPHY. A person who is utterly UNCHASTE would have continuously unclean thoughts. That is why PORNOGRAPHY is so dangerous because it can completely control the mind and make ones thoughts UNCHASTE.

The Bible then defines FORNICATION as ANY SEXUAL ACTIVITY OUTSIDE MARRIAGE. It is an inclusive term. Remember, marriage is between one man and one woman. The definition of FORNICATION would then include: heterosexual relations before marriage, homosexual relations at any time, incest, bestiality, prostitution and pornography. All sex outside of marriage is considered fornication by God.

Sin first originates in the mind, then is dwelt upon and then acted upon. The Lord Jesus said that the act of FORNICATION defiles a man.

"And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, FORNICATIONS, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things come from within, and defile the man" (Mark 7:20-23).

"But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, FORNICATIONS, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man" (Matthew 15:18-20).

Galatians 5:19-21 "Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, FORNICATION, uncleanness, lasciviousness … and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God."

Ephesians 5:3-7 "But FORNICATION, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints … For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them."

Colossians 3:4-6 "When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; FORNICATION, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:"

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 "Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither FORNICATORS, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God."

God’s plan for a family unit is one man and one woman with children. Anything outside this plan is either adultery or fornication as there is no middle ground.

"Homosexual Behavior Doesn't Harm Anyone"

If mere homosexual activity harms no one, then why do gay men have a lifespan that is significantly less than heterosexual men? Why is the homosexual man 44 to 86 times more likely to be diagnosed with HIV than heterosexual men? Why is the incidence of domestic violence double that of heterosexual men? Why do lesbian women have greater health risks than heterosexual women? What about hemophiliacs and spouses who are innocent victims of this lifestyle? The truth is that homosexuality is highly promiscuous and brimming with disease and does harm to everyone involved.

PROMISCUITY INCREASES HEALTH RISKS: "In their study of the sexual profiles of 2,583 older homosexuals published in Journal of Sex Research, Paul Van de Ven et al. found that "the modal range for number of sexual partners ever [of homosexuals] was 101–500." In addition, 10.2 percent to 15.7 percent had between 501 and 1000 partners. A further 10.2 percent to 15.7 percent reported having had more than 1000 lifetime sexual partners. 3.) AIDS: 2% of U.S. population is gay yet it accounts for 61% of HIV infection: "Men who have sex with men remain the group most heavily affected by new HIV infections. While CDC estimates that MSM represent only 2 percent of the U.S. population, they accounted for the majority (61 percent; 29,300) of all new HIV infections in 2009. Young MSM (ages 13 to 29) were most severely affected, representing more than one quarter of all new HIV infections nationally (27 percent; 12,900 in 2009)."
